 The post graduate department of commerce commenced its academic journey since the year 2004 with B.com computer application course and had now produced 15 successful batches .

1.B.com Computer Application (3 Years)

 B.Com Computer Application course is a three year programme that helps students to deal with diversified commerce subjects and also to earn relevant computerized accounting and proficiency skills.

To develop competing accounting professionals who can deal with diversified fields of commerce discipline.

3. MISSION

    i)To train and nurture relevant accounting skills and competencies among students.

    ii) To inculcate right decision making skills and managerial abilities among the students.

    iii) To serve as a center of excellence that deals with vivid dimensions of commerce discipline.

4. OBJECTIVES

	B.Com Computer Application course is designed with the following objectives:
a	To equip the students with the relevant practical accounting skills that helps them to sparkle in the competitive world.
b	To realise the goal of capacity building in higher education in relation to the field of commerce
c	To encourage students to become entrepreneurs by undertaking training programs in various forms
d	To promote excellence in teaching and research and thereby becoming a reliable resource center for the students.

5. ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The student seeking admission for the B Com course should submit the Application form duly filled in the college office. The application form can be bought from the college office by paying a fee of Rs.500/-or can be downloaded from the college website.

Students with more than 75% in 12^th Grade will be eligible for admission.

6. COURSE

         B.com Computer application course is a six-semester programme that deals with different core concepts and aspects of commerce discipline. The computer-oriented subjects and practicals commence from the third semester of the course along with diversified accounting and business subjects.
