Activities 2021-2022

ALUMNI MEET -I

The Inaugural virtual alumni meet was held on Sunday 16th May2021for B.Com 2009 and 2010 batch at 7:00pm. The program began with an invocation by Ms. Jeremy Jain Babu (Faculty, Department of Commerce) .Mr.Thomaskutty M.O (Course co-ordinator) welcomed the virtual gathering. The inaugural address was given by Rev, Fr Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI, who expressed happiness on overwhelming response from the alumni. It was expressed that social distancing has made online meeting the new norm in the recent past at the same time the pandemic has taught lessons of being flexible and accommodative. Dr, Varghese Antony ( Vice Principle College)  expressed his happiness about the accomplishment of the college he also expressed that alumni can contribute in a big way in taking their alma mater to the next level by instituting prizes and join projects and donation to the corpus fund. Dr,Mathew Emmanuel (HOD) expressed his wishes to the alumni and fared wishes to them. Anu Mercy Zacharia (Faculty,Department of Commerce) shared golden memories with the students.

The alumni representatives expressed their views about the college and also that they are faring well in life. Mr.Shihaabudin.M (Faculty,Department of Commerce) proposed the vote of thanks to all the participant. Prior to the annual alumni meet registration was made through Google form and was mailed to them through Whatsapp group. Nearly 50 participants attended the meeting from various countries. 

                 

ALUMNI MEET-II

The virtual alumni meet was held on Friday, 21st May 2021 for B.Com 2006 batch at 7:30pm. The program began with invocation by Ms.Jinu Mariam George, (former student)).Mr.Thomaskutty M.O (Course co-ordinator) welcomed the virtual gathering. The inaugural address was given by Rev, Fr Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI, and (Principal Kristu Jyoti College), who expressed happiness on overwhelming response from the alumni. It was expressed that social distancing has made online meeting the new norm. Rev.Fr.Jose Kaduthannum CMI(former principal Kristu Jyoti College) was overwhelmed by the love and affection of the former students and blessed them. Dr, Varghese Antony (Vice Principle College) expressed his happiness about the accomplishment of the college he also expressed that alumni can contribute in a big way in taking their alma mater to the next level by instituting prizes and join projects and donation to the corpus fund. Dr, Mathew Emmanuel (HOD) expressed his wishes to the alumni and fared wishes to them. Felicitation was given by former teachers, Dr, Joshi Andrews, Ms, Veena S Kumar, and Ms.Vinila Vijayan.Mr.Shihaabudin.M (Faculty, Department of Commerce). also expressed his warm wishes to the alumni.The alumni expressed their views about the college and also that they are faring well in life. The students also expressed their fond remembrance for Late Prof.Salim George (former HOD) and late Mr.Jim Johny(former Student). Mr.Rosy Joseph (former student) proposed the vote of thanks to the participants. Nearly 60 participants attended the meeting from various countries. 

                        

 

ALUMNI MEET:III

The virtual alumni meet was held on Sunday, 30th May 2021, at 6:00pm for M.Com 2011batch to 2017. The program began with invocation by Mr.Vivek Vijayan, (former student).Dr.Anu Antony (IQAC Co-ordinator,Department of Commerce) welcomed the virtual gathering. The inaugural address was given by Rev, Fr Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI, (Principal Kristu Jyoti College), who expressed happiness on overwhelming response from the alumni. It was expressed that social distancing has made online meeting the new norm and blessed the gathering. Dr, Varghese Antony (Vice Principle College) expressed his happiness about the accomplishment of the college he also expressed that alumni can contribute in a big way in taking their alma mater to the next level by instituting prizes and join projects and donation to the corpus fund. Dr,Mathew Emmanuel (HOD) expressed his wishes to the alumni and fared wishes to them. Ms.Thushara Sojan (Faculty, Department of Commerce) proposed the vote of thanks to the participants. Nearly 60 participants attended the meeting from various countries.
