Opening Day

The Opening Day ceremony at KristuJyoti College of Management & Technology was conducted on 22^ndJune 2019 at Kristujyoti Auditorium. The day’s chief guest was His Grace Dr.Mathews MorAntheemos, Metropolitan of Muvattupuzha region. The general conveners were Ms. Dhannya J, The first-year students of all departments and their parents enthusiastically participated in the program. The formal function started at 10.00 AM with the prayer song by the staff choir. The words of welcome was given by Rev. Fr. JoshyCheeramkuzhy CMI, Principal, KJCMT.  Rev Fr Martin Thayyil CMI, Director, Kristujyoti group of institutions has delivered the Presidential Address. The event was officially inaugurated by  Rev. Dr.Mathews MorAntheemoswho enlightened the audience with his motivating message.  After that, the students of KristuJyoti College recited verses from the Holy Bible, Holy Quran, and Sri Bhagavat Gita. Rev.Fr. Martin Thayyil CMI, Director KJ Group& Principal KristuJyotiVidyaNiketandedicated the institution to the sacred heart of Jesus. The next event was the Homage to the founder, St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara. He was the co-founder and first prior general of the first congregation for men in the Syro Malabar Catholic church now known as the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate, CMI. Ms. Linomina Mathew paid homage to the founder. Chief Guest of the day his Grace Rev. Dr.Mathews MorAntheemoslighted the candle from the burning lamp and ignited the candles of the representatives of the students. The Heads of various departments then passed the flame to the rest of the students. After candle lighting, the chief guest blessed the new members of the KRISTU JYOTI COLLEGE family. Rev. Fr. JoshyCheeramkuzhyCMI, Principal, KristuJyoti College presented a memento as a token of love and respect to the chief guest His Grace Dr.Mathews MorAntheemos. On that blessed day, Rev. Fr. Chacko Manackal CMI, Bursar,KristuJyoti group released the annual newsletter of the college.

Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology organized a splendid Opening Day on 22nd October 2020 to extend a warm welcome to the new students of the college. Rev .Fr. Tomy Elavunkal CMI, Director of Kristu Jyoti Group of Institutions, inaugurated the ceremony and blessed the student community by his exuberant words and prayers. Mr.Abhishek Mathew Varghese, 1st rank holder of MG University in B.Sc Psychology, delivered words of inspiration and shared his experience. The whole ceremony was an occasion of transferring the light of education to the new generation in KCMT. The official function concluded with a VOTE OF THANKS by Dr. Varghese Antony, Vice Principal, KristuJyoti College. The program became more effective with the cultural programs conducted by the students of KCMT. The various dance performances and musical events cheered the audience. The program concluded with the Orientation and result analysis given by Mr. Thomaskutty M.O, Course Co-ordinator, Post Graduate Department of Commerce. The program ended with the National Anthem.

The general conveners were Dr. Twinkle Jacob, Ms. Dhannya J, Mr. Vivek V Vijayan, and Ms. Irene Joseph. The first-year students of all departments and their parents enthusiastically participated in the program. The formal function started at 10.00 AM with the prayer song by the staff choir. Philipose Thunduvalachira CMI, Principal, Kristu Jyoti Vidya Niketan released the annual newsletter of the college. The next event was a video presentation about alumni who are in different arenas. Rev. Fr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI welcomed the new members to the KRISTU JYOTI family by giving rose flowers to the representatives of fresher students from each batch. The remaining students received the floral token from the Heads of the respective departments. Endowment award distribution was held by Rev. Fr. Chacko Manackal CMI, Bursar, Kristu Jyoti Group. Dr. Mathew Emanuel endowment award for the Toppers in M.Com Finance and taxation 2019-21 batch was awarded to Ms. Jeethu Jophy & Ms. Soji K J. The program was conducted as per the given schedule. There was an orientation session and result analysis for the new degree and PG students. This session includes an introduction to the college's policies, procedures, campus facilities, and resources. The session also provides an overview of the courses students will be taking during the semester or year. They may discuss the curriculum, course requirements, grading criteria, and expectations. Also, there was an inspirational session of University rank holder and video presentations of alumni to motivate students as they embark on their academic journey. The ceremony also celebrated the rich cultural diversity of the college community through captivating performances by students showcasing various talents such as music and dance. These performances not only entertained the audience but also highlighted the vibrant and inclusive nature of the college environment. The official function concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Varghese Antony, Vice Principal, Kristu Jyoti College leaving the attendees with a sense of anticipation and eagerness for the academic year ahead.

The Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology held a grand opening ceremony on July 1, 2024, to mark the beginning of the new academic year. The event, held at the KJ Auditorium, brought together students, parents, faculty, staff, and distinguished guests to celebrate a new chapter. The ceremony commenced with a prayer song by the college choir, setting a spiritual tone for the occasion. Following the welcome address by Rev. Fr Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI, Principal of the college, Rev. Dr Thomas Kallukalam CMI, Manager of the Kristu Jyoti Group, delivered the presidential address. The much-anticipated inauguration ceremony saw Rev. Bezalel Ramban from the Thumpamon Diocese, Malankara Orthodox Church, officially inaugurate the college. This was followed by a multi-faith ceremony featuring readings from the Holy Bible, the Quran, and the Bhagavad Gita, emphasizing the college's commitment to inclusivity.  A special dedication to the Sacred Heart of Jesus by Rev Fr. Tomy Elavumkal CMI, Director of the Kristu Jyoti Group, further resonated with the college's religious ethos. A homage to the founder of the institution followed, acknowledging the legacy upon which the college is built.
