CHRISTHMAS CELEBRATION EVENT REPORT

Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry, organized the Christmas Celebration on 12 December 2025 at the KJ Auditorium under the guidance of the Christmas Celebration Committee. The auditorium was attractively decorated with balloons, Christmas wreaths, decorative lights, and a beautifully arranged crib, creating a warm and festive ambience. The event witnessed the active participation of students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff, all sharing the joy and spirit of Christmas.
The celebration began at 10:00 AM with a melodious Carol Competition, which set a joyful tone for the day. As part of the pre-celebration activities, Crib-making, Star-making, and Card-making competitions were conducted on 11 December 2025 in the college campus. These competitions encouraged creativity and teamwork among students and received enthusiastic participation.
The formal function commenced at 10:30 AM with an opening hymn sung by the college choir, followed by the welcome address. The programme was presided over by the Principal, Rev. Dr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI, who delivered an inspiring Christmas message emphasizing love, peace, and compassion. The Bible reading was done by Dr. Joseph Sam, who also conveyed Christmas wishes to the gathering.
A symbolic Christmas cake cutting ceremony was performed by the Principal, marking the spirit of togetherness and celebration. A lucky draw was organized, and prizes were joyfully distributed by Santa Claus, bringing smiles and excitement to the audience. Various cultural and entertainment programmes presented by students added colour and vibrancy to the celebration.
The programme came to a close with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the organizers, participants, and volunteers. The formal session concluded with a closing hymn by the college choir.
