The Graduation Day Ceremony, Gradus '25, of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology was held on 8th February 2025 at Saint Chavara Indoor Stadium. The event commenced at 9:30 AM with a grand procession, followed by a soulful prayer song performed by the College Choir. The Principal, Rev. Dr. Joshy George CMI, extended a warm welcome to the gathering. A floral tribute to the Founder was led by student representatives, followed by a benedictory address by Rev. Dr. Thomas Kallukalam CMI, the Manager of KJCMT. The highlight of the event was the Graduation Day Message, delivered by the esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Alphons Joseph Kannanthanam IAS, Former Tourism Minister of India and Minister of State for IT & Electronics. The ceremonial proceedings continued with the Oath-Taking Ceremony, presided over by the Principal, and the symbolic Handing Over the Light by student representatives. The Baccalaureate Ceremony was conducted by the Chief Guest, signifying the transition of students into their professional and academic futures. The event also included a heartfelt performance, Guruvandhanam, by Chrisma Mariyam Benoy, a BBA Final Year representative, honoring the contributions of faculty and mentors. This was followed by a segment titled Moments of Memories & Gratitude, where Amala Hormis, a B.Com Final Year representative, reflected on the graduates' journey. The Memento Presentation to the Chief Guest took place at 12:03 PM, after which Dr. Twinkle Jacob, Associate Professor of Geology, shared words of encouragement and blessings for the graduates. The ceremony concluded with the Merit Award Distribution, recognizing outstanding academic achievers, and a Vote of Thanks delivered by Feba Mary Biju, Students' Council Chairperson (MA HRM). The event culminated with cultural events and the National Anthem, marking the successful completion of another milestone in the institution’s academic legacy. The day was filled with joy, nostalgia, and inspiration, celebrating the graduates' achievements and their bright futures ahead.
