College Day

On February 23, 2019, Krisgala 2018-19, the college day for the 2018–19 academic year, was held. The official opening ceremony got under way at 9:30 am with a musical feast and prayer dance. Vice Principal Dr. Varghese Antony gave the welcome speech.
The audience heard the reading of the College Report. The president's speech was delivered by Rev. Fr. Sebastian Attichira CMI. Dr. Antony Thomas, Principal of KE College, Mannanam, was the day's special guest and he started the ceremonial event. Accomplishment awards were given to deserving pupils. Mr. Alvin Sabu's words of appreciation marked the conclusion of the official meeting (BCom CA2, Sem2).
Chrisbell G. Bertin of BBA Sem2 gave a solo performance to kick off the cultural event at 11:15AM. Through dance, mono act, solo, fashion shows, and comedic sketch performances, students from several departments displayed their diverse talents, enhancing the event's splendour and grandeur. By 1:00 PM, the event was over. Teachers on the various committees, including the organisers, worked sincerely to make the event a success. All of the faculty, staff, and management have come together to celebrate college day and the principles and culture of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology.

Krisgala 2020, the college day of the academic year 2019-20 was celebrated on 26th February 2020.The inaugural function began by 10:00 am with a prayer dance.
Ms. Dhannya J, Associate Professor, delivered the words of welcome. College Report was read before the audience. Rev.Fr. Sebastian Attichira CMI, Manager, Kristu Jyoti Group, gave the presidential address. The chief guest of the day was Rev. Fr. Sebastian Chamathara, Provincial, St. Joseph’s Province Trivandrum, who inaugurated the formal function. Proficiency award were given to the meritorious students. The formal meeting came to an end with words of gratitude.

Students of various departments showcased their numerous talents through dance, drama, solo, fashion show, music band performance that added splendom and grandeur to the event. The event came to an end by 1:00PM. Convenor Ms. Dhannya J, Ms. Meenu Susan Jacob along with the various committee in charge teachers took sincere effort to make the event successful. This college day celebration has brought all students, faculties and management together to celebrate the values and culture of Kristu Jyothi College of Management and Technology.

The chief guest of the day was Rev.Fr. Philipose Thunduvalichira CMI, Principal of Kristu Jyoti vidya Niketan who inaugurated the formal function. Proficiency award were given to the meritorious students. The formal meeting came to an end with words of gratitude by Ms. Anu Eappen Convener of College Day 2022.

Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology celebrated the college day Krisgala on April 24th, 2023 at 9:30 am. The College Day was inaugurated by Job Kurian, Playback Singer, in the KJ Auditorium. The event was well-attended by students, faculty, staff, and guests. The inauguration began with a prayer by the college choir followed by a welcome address by the Vice- Principal .Dr Varghese Antony. Rev Fr Thomas Choolaparambil CMI, Manager Kristu Jyoti College delivered the Presidential Address. The Chief Guest, Mr Job Kurian inaugurated the college day by lighting the lamp and delivered the Inaugural Address followed by a brilliant musical performance, which enthralled the audience. The college report was presented on the LED Wall by the Principal, Rev Fr Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI. The Solo performance by Ms. Merin Siby, Semester 4 student, BCA, the Fashion Show, ‘Celestial Bodies and Beyond’ by the Semester 2 Psychology and the Musical Fiesta by Ms Sunanda Rajagopal & Ms Gopika Sali, Faculty Members, excited the audience. The highlight of the event was the award ceremony, where the outstanding students were awarded proficiency prizes for their academic achievements. After prize distribution. The cultural programs began with a mesmerizing mega dance performance by the students. The students also showcased their talents in singing, acting, and other cultural activities. The audience was thrilled and captivated by the dance performances. The college day event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Coordinator thanking everyone who made the event successful. The event was a grand success, and it left everyone feeling proud of their college and its achievements.

Krisgala 2024, our college day celebration, was a remarkable showcase of talent and unity held on 22 March 2024. From captivating cultural performances to thought-provoking speeches, the event highlighted the diversity and creativity within our college community. Ms Arya Babu, renowned Cine Artist inaugurated the programme. The key note address delivered by Ms Arya Babu was inspiring and motivational with its wholesome content and insightful analysis of social realities. The Fashion Show, in particular, dazzled with its elegance and cultural refinement. This year’s Krisgala was truly a reaffirmation of the shared values, the collective identity, and the unwavering commitment to excellence.
