The Post Graduate Department of Commerce started offering B.Com Finance and  Taxation course from the year 2012 and has produced 7 successful batches till this date.

1.B.com Finance and Taxation (3 Years)

B.Com Finance and Taxation course is a three-year programme that makes the students familiar with relevant accounting and taxation practices.

2. VISION

To develop competing accounting professionals who can deal with diversified fields of commerce discipline.

3. MISSION

   i)To train and nurture accounting skills and competencies among students.

1. ii) To inculcate right decision making skills and managerial abilities among the students.

  iii) To create proficiencies and capabilities in taxation and other related arenas of commerce   discipline.

4.OBJECTIVES

	B.Com Finance and Taxation course is designed with the following objectives:
a	To equip the students with the required practical skills in professional accounting and other inter related areas.
b	To realise the goal of capacity building in higher education in relation to the field of commerce
c	To encourage students to become entrepreneurs by undertaking training programs in various forms
d	To promote excellence in teaching and research and thereby becoming a reliable resource center for the students.

 5. ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The student seeking admission for the B Com course should submit the Application form duly filled in the college office. The application form can be bought from the college office by paying a fee of Rs.500/-or can be downloaded from the college website.

Students with more than 85% in 12^th Grade will be eligible for admission.

6. COURSE

         B.com Finance and Taxation course is a six-semester programme that focuses mainly on accounting and taxation. The indirect and direct tax system along with varied accounting techniques covers the entire programme.
