Blood Donation
On the 23rd of August, 2024, the Red Cross Society of Kristu Jyoti College organized a blood donation camp with the goal of contributing to the local blood banks and helping those in need. This initiative not only aimed to encourage students to participate in a noble cause but also to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation.
The blood donation camp was set up in a designated area of the college campus, and it ran smoothly throughout the day, with proper arrangements made to ensure the safety and comfort of the donors. The camp was conducted in collaboration with the local hospital's blood bank to facilitate the donation process and manage the collection effectively.
A total of 40 students actively participated in the blood donation camp. The participants were mostly from various departments of Kristu Jyoti College, and they showed great enthusiasm in supporting the cause. Before donating, each participant underwent a brief medical screening to ensure they were eligible to donate blood.
The students displayed a sense of responsibility and commitment to helping those in need, contributing significantly to the success of the camp. The college's Red Cross Society also encouraged the students to adopt blood donation as a regular practice and emphasized the life-saving benefits of such donations.
