Activity I
The IQAC Students' Wing was inaugurated by Rev.Fr.Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI(Principal, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology) on 26 th June 2023 at 3:10 pm. Dr. Benno Joseph (Head of the Department of Geology) extended the introductory address and Dr.Anu Antony(IQAC Coordinator) endowed the felicitation. The First meeting of IQAC Students' Wing was held on the same day at 3:30 pm. Dr. Twinkle Jacob(Associate Professor in Geology) introduced the idea of NAAC and IQAC with a presentation, which gave great knowledge and insights about the various activities of the college. Miss. Aksa Ann Santhosh and Mr. Jithu George (M. Com Semester 5 students) were selected as the IQAC Student Coordinators during the meeting. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms.Cini Joseph(Assistant Professor in Computer Science).
Activity II
The second meeting of the IQAC Students' Wing was summoned on September 5, 2023, at 3:00 pm. Dr.Anu Antony and Dr.Twinkle Jacob were the resource persons.
They discussed the following topics:
Curriculum planning and implementation, curriculum enrichment, and cross-cutting issues relevant to professional ethics, gender, human values, the environment, and sustainability in transacting the curriculum. Teaching-Learning Process, Student Performance, Learning Outcome, and Student Centric Methods such as Experiential Learning, Participative Learning, and Problem-Solving Methodologies for enhancing the learning experience using ICT tools. The session struck the perfect balance between informative and interactive, which expanded the understanding of various topics discussed.
Activity III
The third meeting of the IQAC Students' Wing was convoked on September 21, 2023.
Ms. Irene Joseph (Assistant Professor in Psychology) and Ms. Shincy K. Kurian (Assistant Professor in Commerce) were the resource persons.
The topics discussed include:
Resource mobilisation for research, ecosystem for innovations, initiatives for the creation and transfer of knowledge, various extension and outreach activities carried out in the neighbourhood community, sensitising to social issues for holistic development, and different skill trainings and collaborations for faculty and student exchange. ICT infrastructure and physical facilities; library automation using the Integrated Library Management System as a learning resource; and various clubs and cells initiated on campus. The elaborative and well-explained presentation aided greatly in comprehending the topics discussed.
