The Post Graduate Department of Commerce organizes National Paper Presentation competition every year in order to provide a platform for sharing and
discovering views and facts relating to situations that prevail in the recent economic area. Different financial oriented topics form the bases of the competition. The first National Paper Presentation Competition was conducted on December 17 ,2013 on the topic “Financial Literacy In India: Tapping the Untapped”. The Department has organized Eight National Paper Presentation Competition till year 2022 on various topics of financial interest .The selected papers are published in ISBN Edited Book.
The first national paper presentation competition was conducted on December 17,2013 on the topic”FINANCIAL LITERACY IN INDIA : TAPPING
THE UNTAPPED”,inaugurated by Ms.Sony V.k(manager,Federal Bank,Thengana). The total number of papers presented were 37.
The second national Paper presentation Competiton was held on 22 nd November, 2014 on the topic “ CORPORATE GOVERNANCE IN EMERGING
MARKETS; PRACTICES AND PARADIGMS,inaugurated by Mr.M.M Zachariah FCA(Agricultural,Income Tax and Sales Tax Appelliate Tribunal) .The total
number of papers presented were 47.
The Third national paper presentation Competition was conducted on the topic “ Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises” : Trajectories and Pardigms of
Sustainable Business” on 31 st October, 2015. The competition was inaugurated by G.S.Gireesh Kumar( Associate Professor,Nirmala college, Muvattupuzha). The total number of papers presented were 73.
The fourth national Paper presentation competition was held on 25 th November,2016 on the topic “ Disruptive Innovations In Indian Banking Industry; Emerging Business Paradigms”,inaugurated by Mr.Sooraj S(Manager of Financial Inclusion,Dept,RBI,Trivandrum). The total number of papers presented
were 53.
The fifth national paper presentation competition was conducted on 5 th January,2018 on the topic “ GST-One country,One Tax and One Market”. The
competition was inaugurated by C.A.Gopal Krishna Raju(FCA,FCS,ACMA,PGDOR,PGDFM,DISA,M.Phil).The competition marked successful with Participation of 40 Teams.
The Sixth national paper presentation Competition was conducted on 8 th March,2019 on the topic “Recent Trends In Indian Financial System: Paradigms
and Praxis”. The Competition was inaugurated by E.Padmaraj IRS. The competition marked fruitful with presentation of 63 Papers including participation
from colleges outside Kerala. The first prize was bagged by Abhijith R and Abhijith A U (CET). Mr.Alen George (Kristu Jayanti Bangalore ) and Tinu Johnson – Anjali Bhaskar(Bharatmatha College,Trickakkara) won the second and third prize respectively.
The 8th National Paper Presentation Competition was conducted on 28th May 2021 on the topic “Impact of Covid on the E-Commerce Market”. The Inaugural session commenced at 10.00 am with a prayer song. Dr. Mathew Emmanuel (Head of the Department of post graduate department of commerce) delivered the welcome speech. Fr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI ( Principal, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology) inaugurated the session and delivered the inaugural address and Mr. Vivek Vijayan ( Assistant Professor, post graduate department of commerce) propose the vote of Thanks.
Research Club in association with Post Graduate Department of Commerce of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry organizes National Paper Presentation on 16th September 2022, from 9:15 am to 3:00 pm. The Program was conducted both offline and online mode. Dr. Anu Antony was the moderator for the online session. Dr. Mathew Emmanuel, Ms. Anu Mercy, Ms. Anu Gayak, Mr. Thomaskutty M.O, Ms. Jisna, Mr. Deepu C Vijay were the moderators for offline program. The offline program was conducted in classrooms 707 and 803. Total of 11 participants presented their papers in the online mode. Online presentation was done through Google meet platform. The programme begins with a prayer song by Ms. Richu of second year M. Com batch. Ms. Milcah Elizabeth Shibu (Assistant professor, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry) delivered the welcome speech. Fr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI (Principal, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry) inaugurated the national paper presentation and delivered the inaugural address. The outcome of the program was to create an insight into the meaning of research and to make the students capable of understanding and making them to present the paper effectively. The program ends with the valedictory session at 3pm.
