The formal inauguration of the ED Cell of the Post Graduate Department of Commerce has been held on 22-06-2021 on a virtual mode. The session was started with a prayer song by Bhagya S. Vinod (B.ComFT1 SEM2) at 6 p.m. Dr. Varghese Antony, Vice Principal and HoD of Commerce welcomed the gatherings. The Chief Guest of the event was Dr. K.C. Chandrasekharan Nair, Founder Team Member, CFO, Techno Park and Founder and Managing Director Technology Business Incubation, Trivandrum. The presidential address was delivered by the respected Principal Fr. Joshy Cheeramkuzy CMI. In his keynote address Dr. K.C. Chandrasekharan Nair shared the thought promoting ideas with his rich resources, responses and resilience. He viewed entrepreneur as a creative problem shooter who brings about economic development which is mingled with political and social change. He also emphasized the new meaning of innovation as technology disruption and explored the possibilities of opening start-ups by students. The question- answer session was followed at the end of the event with the involvement of faculty members and PG Students with the chief guest. Ms. Anu Mercy, Senior Faculty and coordinator of the ED Cell extended the vote of thanks. The session came to an end by 7.45 p.m.
The Second Webinar on the topic of Meet the Entrepreneur Talk 2 of the ED Cell of the Post Graduate Department of Commerce has been held on 30-07-2021 on a virtual mode. The session was started with a prayer song by Bhagya S. Vinod (B.ComFT1 SEM2) at 6 p.m. Ms. Krishna Priya A Nair, ED Cell member welcomed the gatherings. The Chief Guest of the event was Mrs. Fouzi R Naizam, CEO, Cutiepie Cakes Pvt. Ltd. The Introduction to keynote speaker was delivered by the Ms. Caroline Saji George, ED Cell member.
In her keynote address Mrs. Fouzi R Naizam shared the thought promoting ideas with her rich resources, responses and resilience. She viewed entrepreneur as a creative problem shooter who brings about economic development which is mingled with political and social change. Also shared her experience as an entrepreneur and shared the problems faced in establishing a business enterprise. The question- answer session was followed at the end of the event with the involvement of faculty members and PG Students with the chief guest. Ms. Fathima Shibu, Member of the ED Cell extended the vote of thanks. The session came to an end by 7.15 p.m.
The Third Webinar on the topic of Why entrepreneurship? of the ED Cell of the Post Graduate Department of Commerce has been held on 28-08-2021 on a virtual mode. The session was started with a prayer song by Bhagya S. Vinod (B.ComFT1 SEM2) at 10.30 am. Ms.Neeraja S Raj , ED Cell Co-ordinator welcomed the gatherings. The Chief Guest of the event was Mr. Vishnu G, Dean- Naipunya School of Management.

Post Graduate Department of Commerce in association with IQAC & IEDC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry organises Seminar on “Entrepreneurship: Opportunties and Trends” on 30th September 2022, from 9:15 am to 11:00 am. Professor Abi Varghese, Converor of Makerhub Amal Jyoti IEDC was the resource person. The Program was conducted offline in the seminar hall of the college. Total of 105 participants were take part in the seminar. The first year B. Com computer application and finance batch students were the participants The programme begins with a prayer song by Jeslin and Amala of first year B.Com Batch. Mr. Abel Binu of first year B.Com batch delivered the welcome speech. Fr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI (Principal, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry) inaugurated the seminar and delivered the inaugural address. The outcome of the program was to create an insight into the meaning of entrepreneurship, role and importance of entrepreneurs and to give the students an idea about the opportunities in business nowadays. At the end, there was a question answering session to clarify the queries of the participants. The seminar ends with the vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Jeremy (First year student of B.Com Batch).
