Activity Calendar-National/International Day Observance

                                                                                                   Activity I :  International Dance day Celebration

International Dance day is celebrated on April 29th every year. As part of the International Dance day celebration, M.Com First year students (2020 – 2022 batch) conducted a solo dance competition for the students of commerce department. Aiwin Philipose (Bcom, 2nd semester, Finance and taxation, Batch 2) got the first prize and Sriya Sunny (B.Com, 3rd semester, finance and taxation, Batch 2) got the second prize. Certificates are issued for the winners.

 

   Activity II : International Family day Celebration

International Family day is celebrated on May 15th every year. As part of the International Family day celebration, B.Com (Finance and Taxation – Batch 2) second year students conducted a video competition for the all the students in the college. Milan Maria Gee (B.com, 2nd semester, Computer Application, Batch 2) got the first prize, Akshaya S (BCA, 2nd semester) got the second prize, Sruthi K Thomas (B.com, 2nd semester, Finance and Taxations, Batch 2) got the third prize. Certificates are issued for the winners.

Activity III : International Workers Day Celebration

May Day popularly known as Workers’ Day is celebrated on May 1st every year all around the world. This year also it was commemorated with giving much importance to people all around us especially during this pandemic situation. The first year B.com students of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, along with our dear parents and beloved teachers, celebrated the programme in our best way. As the pandemic caused a wreck all over the nation, to and for each and every ones safety it was a virtual gathering. All of us participated and shared our thoughts with each other and made it a memorable day.

   

Activity IV: International Nurses Day Celebration

International Nurses Day (IND) is an international day observed around the world on 12 May (the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth) of each year, to mark the contributions that nurses make to society. “Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.”– Mother Teresa. The Post Graduate Department of Commerce, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology organizes ‘COLLAGE’ competition for the entire students of the college to honour Nurse and their dedication.  Mumthas  P. S (MCA semester 4) got the first prize and Reshma Suresh (Bcom 2nd semester, Finance and taxation, Batch 2) got the second prize and Megha Rebeca (BBA 2nd semester) got the third prize.

Activity V: Children’s Day Celebration

The occasion of Children’s Day reminds all of us that we must always laugh like a child and we will never be sad or depressed in life. A very Happy Children’s Day to all. Childhood is an enchanting vista, an endless fun, A joyful classroom, An experience, An era of imagination, An artistic journey, An ode to love, and A happy moment. This year’s children’s day was celebrated on November 18, Kristu Jyoti Vidya Nikhethan for Class 1 students.The student representatives welcomed them with colorful bookmarks hand made by them. Also the students of KCMT engaged them with action song and story narration.Also a craft session was taken for them. A hand made cover for keeping mask hygiene. Student’s representatives engaged almost one hour effectively. The session winded up by distributing toffees to all Also acknowledged  for joining the hands to celebrate the children’s day under the flagship of KRISTU JYOTI COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY.

   

Activity VI : Teacher’s Day Celebration

Post Graduate Department of Commerce in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry organized Teacher’s Day Program on 5th September 2021, at 3.00pm. The programme began with a prayer song. Rev Fr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI (Principal of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry) inaugurated the programme and delivered the Presidential Address. Dr. Varghese Antony (Vice Principal and Head of the Department of Post Graduate Department of Commerce) addressed with “Message of the Day”. The session covered with “Letter’s To Teachers” a dedication to the teachers. Students dedicated their words to the teachers, which was a heart touching part of the programme. The session included “Experience sharing” by Dr. Jaya kumar (Associate Professor of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry), which was an inspiring and thoughtful one for the participant no matter the age. A song was delivered by the students. Followed by a video presentation to the teachers. All the students wished the teachers, which was a very precious moment. The programme ended with Words of Gratitude delivered by the student’s coordinator.
