Activity 1

The Postgraduate Department of Psychology of Kristu Jyoti College of Management & Technology conducted the PTA meeting for the 2022-2025 batch fourth semester students on Friday 19th January 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Seminar hall of the college. The formal meeting of the PTA was presided over by the Principal of the college Rev. Fr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI. The meeting was attended by Mr. Cijo Joseph (The Sectional Head of the Postgraduate Department of Psychology, KCMT) who delivered the welcome speech. The faculty members of the Department who coordinated the PTA meeting were Ms.Jebimol Jegimon and Ms. Esther Anna Joy.After the formal meeting, the parents had the opportunity to meet the faculty members individually and collectively. The faculty members who had meetings with the parents were Ms. Irene Joseph, Ms.Jebimol Jegimon, Ms. Evita Antony, Ms. Esther Anna Joy, Ms. Jilu Mary Luke, Dr. Sobha Merrina George, Ms. Smitha Ratnam, and Ms. Sneha Ann Sunil. The feedback of the parents regarding the PTA meeting was good as it was an opportunity for the parents to discuss the progress of their children with the teachers.

Activity 2

The Postgraduate Department of Psychology of Kristu Jyoti College of Management & Technology conducted the PTA meeting for the 2023-2026 batch second semester students on Friday 23rd February 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Indoor Court of the college. The PTA meeting had the presence of a sizable number of parents of the semester students. After the formal meeting, the parents had the opportunity to meet the faculty members individually and collectively. The faculty members who had meetings with the parents were Ms. Meethu Mary George, Ms. Jebimol Jegimon, Ms. Evita Antony, Ms. Esther Anna Joy, Ms. Jilu Mary Luke, Dr. Sobha Merrina George, Ms. Smitha Ratnam, and Ms. Nandana V.S . The parents who were not able to turn up for the PTA meeting on were asked to come to the college to have face to face separate meetings with the Sectional Head of the Department.The outcome of the meeting was to provide proper guidance to prepare for the upcoming university examinations. Those students who were unable to perform well were motivated to excel in the following academic pursuits.

Activity 3

The Postgraduate Department of Psychology of Kristu Jyoti College of Management & Technology conducted the PTA meeting for the 2023-2025 batch second semester students on Wednesday 20th March 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Indoor Court of the college. The faculty members of the Department who coordinated the PTA meeting was Ms. Divya S Nair. The PTA meeting had the presence of a sizable number of parents of the second semester students. After the formal meeting, the parents had the opportunity to meet the faculty members individually and collectively. The faculty members who had meetings with the parents were Ms. Krupa Dinah Mathews, Ms. Esther Anna Joy, Ms. Sneha Ann Sunil, Ms. Jane Sebastian, Ms. Jilu Mary Luke, Ms. Gayathri Devi S, and Ms. Nandana V.S. The PTA meeting highlighted the concerns of the parents regarding the academic welfare of their children, sharing of various worries to the teachers and the teachers prompt explanations to the parents regarding the academic progress of their children so far. The PTA meeting was conducted in a cordial atmosphere all the way.
