The Group Discussion & Interview Techniques Programme is designed to prepare final year BCom students for the challenges of group discussions and personal interviews, which are critical components of the recruitment process. This initiative aims to enhance students’ communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and confidence to excel in group settings and one-on-one interviews. The Programme Include :

• Group Discussion Skills: Equip students with strategies to effectively participate and contribute in group discussions.
• Interview Techniques: Provide insights into common interview questions and the best ways to respond.
• Communication Enhancement: Improve verbal and non-verbal communication skills essential for professional success

Group Discussion & Resume Presentation

Commerece department organized a Resume Preparation Session ‘Effective Resume on 08/08/2024 (9.15 am to 1.15 am) for the students of B. Com Computer Application Batch 1 Semester 5. The session aimed to equip students with essential skills for creating impactful resumes, which are crucial tools in the job search process. The workshop was led by Mrs. Devi Sundar a Career Counsellor with extensive experience in career development and recruitment. The four-hour session helped the students to acquire informative knowledge about an effective resume preparation which covered the meaning of resume, key components of resume, how to tailor an effective resume and also about the common mistakes that should be avoiding while preparing a resume such as overwriting, poor layout choices etc. The session also focused in building the developing the communicating skills, leadership skills etc.
