Group Discussion Session on Effect of Covid-19 Pandemic on Indian Economy

Date: 24/06/2021 and 25/06/2021
Time: 3.30 PM to 4.00 PM

 The first GD sessions of the Group Discussion Club ‘ECLECTICS’ of the Post Graduate Department of Commerce at Kristi Jyoti College of Management and Technology was conducted on 24 and 25 June 2021 from 3.30 pm – 4.30 pm on Google Meet platform.  Ms. Jeremy Jain Babu, Convenor of the club was the moderator of the sessions. Session 1 and Session 2 was conducted for postgraduate and undergraduate students of the Commerce Department, who are the members of the club, respectively on 24 June and 25 June 2021. Members of the club presented their opinion regarding the topic and made the session livelier.       Group Discussion Sessions on topic Effect of Covid19 Pandemic on Indian Economy was conducted to enhance students’ social awareness and to develop soft skills in students.

Group Discussion Session on Going Green: Industrial Growth and Environmental Care

 The second GD sessions of the Group Discussion Club ‘ECLECTICS’ of the Post Graduate Department of Commerce at Kristi Jyoti College of Management and Technology was conducted on 29 July 2021 from 3.30 pm – 4.30 pm on Google Meet platform. Ms. Jeremy Jain Babu, Convenor of the club was the moderator of the session. The session was attended by students of the Commerce Department, who are members of the club. Members of the club presented their opinion regarding the topic and made the session livelier. As the topic for the Group Discussion Session was announced prior to the session, students could read and prepare well. Group Discussion Sessions on topic Going Green: Industrial Growth and Environmental Care was conducted to enhance students’ knowledge on the topic and to develop soft skills, interpersonal skills & English language skills in students.

 The third GD sessions of the Group Discussion Club ‘ECLECTICS’ of the Post Graduate Department of Commerce at Kristi Jyoti College of Management and Technology was conducted on 12 August 2021 from 3.30 pm – 4.30 pm on Google Meet platform.  Ms. Sruthi K. Thomas of B. Com Finance and Taxation batch was the moderator of the session. The session was attended by students of the Commerce Department, who are members of the club. Members of the club presented their different opinion regarding the topic.

Group Discussion Session on Commercialization of Health Sector in India

 The fourth GD sessions of the Group Discussion Club ‘ECLECTICS’ of the Post Graduate Department of Commerce at Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology was conducted on 18 January 2021 from 3.30 pm – 4.00 pm at the college. Ms. Aiswarya Raju of B. Com. Computer Applications batch was the moderator of the session. The student members of the club presented their opinion regarding the topic and made the session active.
