Seminar on Organic Farming Techniques
Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted a SEMINAR on Organic Farming Techniques on 31st JULY 2023, at 10.00 Am. Rev.Fr.Thomas Kulathumkal, Director, CHANGANACHERRY SOCIAL SERVICE SOCIETY(CHASS), was the resource person. The event was conducted at college SEMINAR hall. Total of 79 participants were take part in the SEMINAR. With the blessings of almighty Seminar was commenced with a prayer song by Ms.Aiswarya Elizabeth,Meha Sebastian and Drishya Sreekumar(MA HRM IInd Year student representatives). Following the prayer Ms.Vaishnavi Jayakumar (MA HRM IInd Year student representative) delivered words of welcome to all dignitaries and especially to the students. Fr.Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI (Principal, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry) inaugurated the seminar “Kuttikrishithottam” and delivered the presidential address. After the presidential address the resource person Rev.Fr.Thomas Kulathumkal, presented an interactive session on Organic Farming Techniques updates. The resource person used very attractive and colorful PPT presentations. He also ensured the active participation of students by gathering more updates on organic farming. The outcome of the program was to create an awareness among students and the advantages of Organic Farming especially by making a vegetable garden in our homes, wokplaces, college etc. In the end of the session, there was a question answering session to clarify the queries of the participants. The workshop ends with the vote of thanks delivered by Ms.Saaji T Aniyan ( BBA Ist Semester student representative).A token of appreciation was handed over to the resource person by Mr.Thomas Mathew,HoD,PG Department of Management Studies.
One Day - Faculty Development Programme on “Use of Mental Modeling in Learning"
The Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology conducted a Faculty Development Program on “Use of Mental Modeling in Learning” on 6th February 2024. A total of 53 participants were part of the session including faculties and Research Scholars from various colleges. The session commenced at 6pm followed by welcome address by Ms. Vaishnavi Jayakumar. Dr. Shiny Abraham. was the resource person for the selected topic. She gave a detailed note on the subject matter followed by queries for discussing doubts was provided at the end. Indeed, the session was a great success as the gathering were able to clarify their doubts regarding the topic. The program concluded with words of gratitude by Ms. Devika Chandana.
Research Methodology Seminar
The Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with and IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology conducted a seminar on Research Methodology on 19th of February 2024 in order give awareness on the importance of research. The seminar was conducted in the Seminar Hall between 2.30 to 3.30p.m.
The programme was organised with Rev.Dr..Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI positioned as the chief patron, Prof. Thomas Mathew headed as the convener and Mr. Ronnie Mathew Idicula leading as the staff coordinator.
The master of the ceremony, Ms.Abhirami Pradeep, 2nd Semester BBA gracefully handled the session from the start to the end. The session started with a silent prayer. It was further followed by the words of welcome conveyed by Abhirami Pradeep from BBA semester II. With much delight the chief guest of honor, Mr.Jibin Mathew Asst.Professor and Research Scholar, Kuriakose Elias College,Mannanam , Kottayam was cordially welcomed to address the student gathering. He enriched the students about recent trends in research.
In addition, he enlightened the student community by his words. The students were kept in high focus throughout the session as the resource person knocked several important inputs into their young carefree minds and he winded up by laying emphasis on the various research techniques. It was really inspiring and informative which showered much insights into the young minds.
This programme was wrapped up by Ms.Mismi Elizabeth Mathew, of BBA semester II, extending the vote of thanks to all those who worked zealously behind the successful conduction of the programme.
International Webinar on “21st Century Logistics and Supply Chain Management - Strategic Challenges and Solutions”
The Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology conducted an International Webinar on “21st Century Logistics and Supply Chain Management - Strategic Challenges and Solutions” on 1st March 2024. A total of 100 participants comprising of students from BBA S2,BBA S4,BBA S6 were a part of the session. The session commenced at 6pm followed by welcome address by Mr. Ronnie Mathew Idicula. Prof. Edward Sweeney. was the resource person for the selected topic. He gave a detailed note on the Logistics & Supply Chain, sharing his insights on its relevance, challenges and solutions. followed by queries for discussing doubts was provided at the end. Indeed, the session was a great success as the gathering were able to clarify their doubts regarding the topic. The program concluded with words of gratitude by Ms. Ish Priya Jolly, MA HRM S4 student.
Seminar on Research Methodology
The Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology conducted a seminar on “Research Methodology “on 11th March 2024. A total of 29 participants were part of the session. The session commenced at 10 am followed by welcome address by Ms. Vaishnavi Jayakumar,II Year MA.HRM. Dr. Anu Antony was the resource person for the selected topic. She gave a detailed note on how to present a research paper followed by queries for discussing doubts was provided at the end. This session was intended to conduct in connection with National Paper Presentation Competition to be held on 5th April 2024. Indeed, the session was a great success as the gathering were able to clarify their doubts regarding the topic. The program concluded with words of gratitude by Mr.Rony Devasya,I year MA.HRM.
Life Skill - Self Defence Awareness & Training Programme
The Post-Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted a Life Skill Programme on Self Defence -Awareness & Training on 26-06-2023. Life skills means a set of basic skills acquired through learning and/or direct life experience that enable people to find out new ways of thinking and solving problems encountered in daily life effectively. The purpose of conducting such a programme was to provide the students with an idea about the importance of self defence. Self-defence is a combination of knowledge, confidence and technique, and karate is a form of martial arts that helps people to express their energy in the right arena, to learn humility and respect for others. Moreover it strengthens the mind and entire body, improves coordination, quickens reflexes, develops composure, a clearer thought process, deeper insight into one's mental capabilities, more self-confidence, builds stamina and overall health. The Resource Person of the session was Mr. Aju Abraham. The session was conducted in the offline mode. 67 students were take part in the session. The session started with the prayer song followed by the words of welcome by Ms. Linta Abraham. After the welcome address, Rev. Dr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI, Principal, KJCMT delivered the presidential address. Thereafter the session was handed over to the Resource Person. Workshop- “SELFGNITE”- Leadership Training Programme (3 days)
On 9th, 10th and 11thof August,2023 the Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyothi College of Management & Technology and Srishti Innovative ,Techno Park conducted a workshop on Leadership training & Development in order to motivate and shed some light on the various soft skills and also to broaden perspectives of the students. The seminar was conducted in the seminar hall on 9th, 10th and 11thof August,2023 between 9.00 a.m. to 4.00p.m.
The Workshop was organised with Rev.Fr.Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI positioned as the chief patron, Prof. Thomas Mathew headed as the convener and Mr. Christin Mathew & Ms. Sona Jojo leading as the staff coordinators.

It was further followed by the words of welcome conveyed by Vaishnavi Jayakumar from M.A HRM semester I. With much delight the Resourse Perosn, Mr.Vishnu Prasad MV, Master Trainer Team Inspire, Srishti Innovative was cordially welcomed to address the student gathering. He enriched the students about the ample amount of opportunities.
In addition, Mr. Sujith SurendrnMaster Trainer Team Inspire, Srishti Innovative enlightened the student community on the various paths they can pursue to achieve their goals and targets. The students were kept in high focus throughout the session as the resource person knocked several important inputs into their young carefree minds and he winded up by laying emphasis on the various competitive examinations and the eligibility required to appear for them. It was really inspiring and informative which showered much insights into the young minds.
The workshop was wrapped up by Devika S Panicker of BBA semester 5 extending the vote of thanks to all those who worked zealously behind the successful conduction of the career development programme.

Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted a seminar on ICT on 14th November 2023, at 10.00 AM. Mr.Jacob George was the resource person. The event was conducted at Room No.604. Total of 47 participants were take part in the Seminar. Mr.Jacob George presented an interactive session on improve the quality of education and enhance the learning process. . The resource person used very attractive and colorful PPT presentations. He also ensured the active participation of students by gathering more updates on ICT. The outcome of the program was to expose them to a diverse range of opportunities in ICT to build experience and clarity about their goals.
In the end of the session, there was a question answering session to clarify the queries of the participants. The workshop ends with the vote of thanks delivered by Ms.Aditya Prasad ( BBA 5th Semester student representative).
Soft Skill – Public Speaking Training
On January 29th, 2024, at 2:00 p.m, the Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry, held a training in Public Speaking in order to shed some light on the capability of students in speaking. The program's focus was to provide an insight to the students raise students' knowledge and give a podium to overcome their stage freight. The programme was held in room number: 610 from 2 pm to 3 pm.
Seminar on ICT
On January 9th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m, the Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry, held a seminar on Information and communication technology in order to shed some light on various technical aspects. The program's focus was to provide an insight to the students raise students' knowledge on the technical advancement in the world. The programme was held in room number: 604 from 10 am to 11 am.
CHARITY VISIT
On October 13, 2023, the Post Graduate Department of Management Studies held a CHARITY VISIT to the Mother Theresa Sanjeevini Charitable Trust at Nedukunnam in collaboration with the IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry. The Mother Theresa Sanjeevini Charitable Trust was visited by the first-year BBA students, led by Ms. Renju Alex, the class instructor for first-year BBA students and Mr. Christin Mathew. The inmates had a great time participating in various cultural events that the students performed for them. Principal, Rev. Fr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy of CMI and Prof. Thomas Mathew, HOD of BBA at KJCMT gave their full support and blessing to the entire program. The Home authorities received a monetary donation from the students. It was an act of kindness on the part of the students of BBA Department KJCMT.
Student Exchange Programme
Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted a Student Exchange Programme with Assumption college, Changanassery on 26th February, at 10.30 PM. Ms. Aleena Maria Alex & Ms. Angelina Sajan, Assumption College, Changanasseryare the resource persons. The event was conducted at Seminar Hall of KCMT. Total of 62 participants were take part in the Seminar. They ensured the active participation of students by gathering more updates on the top “Emerging Trends in E-Commerce & Digital Transformation in Business”. In the end of the session, there was a question answering session to clarify the queries of the participants.

Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted a seminar on career development on 7th October 2023, at 10.00 PM. Mr.Merwin Mathew was the resource person. The event was conducted at Room No.604. Total of 41 participants were take part in the Seminar. Mr.Merwin Mathew presented an interactive session on career guidance updates. The resource person used very attractive and colorful PPT presentations. He also ensured the active participation of students by gathering more updates on Job opportunities. The outcome of the program was to expose them to a diverse range of opportunities to build experience and clarity about their goals.
In the end of the session, there was a question answering session to clarify the queries of the participants. The workshop ends with the vote of thanks delivered by Ms.Karishma Sai ( BBA 5th Semester student representative).

He also ensured the active participation of students by gathering more updates on Job opportunities. The outcome of the program was to expose them to a diverse range of opportunities to build experience and clarity about their goals. Ms. Aleena Shebin was the resource person. The event was conducted at Seminar Hall. Total of 45 participants were take part in the Seminar. Ms.Aleena Shebin presented an interactive session on career guidance updates. The resource person used very attractive PowerPoint presentations. She also ensured the active participation of students by gathering more updates on Job opportunities. The outcome of the program was to expose them to a diverse range of opportunities to build experience and clarity about their goals. In the end of the session, there was a question answering session to clarify the queries of the participants. The workshop ends with the vote of thanks delivered by Ms.Devika Kalarickal ( BBA 5th Semester student representative).
Activity I
A batch of Semester III BBA students (55) along with 2 assistant professors visited LEAD College of Management at Palakkad on 20th and 21st August 2023.We were provided with food and accommodation by them.
We were welcomed by Dr. Thomas George K, who is the founding Chairman and Principal of LEAD College of Management at Palakkad. The students of KCMT was introduced to OBT (Outbound Training) on the next day in LEAD College.
LEAD has its own Outbound Training center which regularly conducts outbound training for students as well as corporate employees. Through this the student get lots of opportunity for meeting and relating with corporate professionals. Totally the college is a student’s lead family where everybody’s living together to realize their potentials in proper alignment with their life goals. It is launched to combat the hardships of students, after critically analyzing the psychological and emotional factors, thereby making them face realities courageously.
Outbound training involves an informal environment, surrounded by nature tranquility, people become more natural and reflective, paving the way for a complete and effective learning process.
Activity II
On April 8 and 9, 2024, a group of 51 BBA students in their Second semester of study and two assistant professors paid a visit to LEAD College of Management in Palakkad. They provided us with lodging and food. Dr. Thomas George K, the founder chairman and principal of the LEAD College of Management at Palakkad, greeted us. The next day at LEAD College, the KCMT students were introduced to OBT (Outbound Training).
Both corporate personnel and students often participate in overseas training sessions offered by LEAD, which has its own outbound training facility. The learner will get numerous opportunities to interact with and meet corporate experts through this.
All in all, the college is a student's first family, where all members live together to fulfil their potential and pursue their objectives in life. It is designed to help students overcome their struggles by critically examining the psychological and emotional causes and encouraging them to face reality with courage.
When people participate in outbound training in a relaxed, natural setting, they become more introspective and natural, which opens the door to a thorough and successful learning process.
Activity I
Training Programme - “EKATHA”
The MA HRM final year students under Post graduate department of management studies of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Studies organized “EKATHA -Training and Development Programme” with the support of Rev. Dr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI, the Principal and Prof. Thomas Mathew, the head of post graduate department of management studies. The event took place in the seminar hall of post graduate department of management studies between the timings 11:15 am and 1: 15pm.
The event was led and executed successfully with the presence and guidance of Asst. Prof. Christin Mathew, the staff co-ordinator of Ekatha Training and development Programme
The programme mainly focused on first year MA HRM students with final year MA HRM students.Also, judges and other facilities were present at the event.
The purpose of the programme is to develop social skills and confidence to provide a platform for students to showcase one's unique talents in the holistic development of the personality of students.The interaction elicited by the event will help students build relationships, understand different perspectives and engage other activities.
The event commenced by giving thanks to the almighty with a prayer song by Ms.Meha Sebastian,Ms.Drishya Sreekumar and Ms Devika Chandana..To welcome the audience and guests a welcome speech was followed by Ms Jeleetta Mathew.The anchoring was carried out by Ms Vaishnavi Jayakumar.An ice breaking session was implemented to motivate the students for team building and to develop a rapport between them. And also, this session was followed by a series of games which aimed at enhancing the communication skills, decision making and coordination among the students.
Activity II
Student Exchange Programme
Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted a Student Exchange Programme with Assumption college, Changanassery on 12th December, at 10.30 PM. Ms. Linta Abraham & Mismi Elizabeth Mathew, students of Kristu Jyoti college of management and Technology are the resource persons. The event was conducted at Seminar Hall of Assumption College. Total of 76 participants were take part in the Seminar. Our students used very attractive PowerPoint presentations. They also ensured the active participation of students by gathering more updates on the top “Recent Trends in Training”. In the end of the session, there was a question answering session to clarify the queries of the participants.
Activity I
Case Study Competition
On 6th December 2023 Post Graduate Department of Management Studies, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology conducted an online case study competition named “Big Brand failures” and the entries were made open for MA HRM Students. Mr. Christin Mathew was the Coordinator for competition. The main objective of the programme was to practically apply skills and understanding of learned facts to a real-world situation. Activity I
Inter Departmental Poster Designing Competition-National Education Day
Post Graduate Department of Management Studies of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted an Inter Departmental Poster Designing Competition. Artists carry responsibilities to create awareness through the medium of their art. Bearing the same in mind, a poster making was organised for the students of all the departments. The students are required to showcase their creativity on the theme “Embracing Innovation”.The competition was done as part of commemorating National Education Day. The intent behind this was to make the students aware about the innovative Education system prevailing in the society. One could see and feel the enthusiasm that the students had in their presentation. The activity kept the students engaged and gave them the platform to explore their creativity and to showcase their skills. The activity saw colourful posters from the students depicting the pictures on opportunities and challenges faced by the educational system prevail in the society. Joel Michael of I semester BBA won the first prize and Milan M Shaji of I semester B.Sc Cyber Forensic, second place respectively.
Activity I
On February 6th, 2024, at 11:15 a.m, the Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry, held a session on Gender Equality - A Gender Awareness Programme” in order to shed some light on students in equality and accepting each gender in the society. The program's focus was to provide an insight to the students and raise students to the level of consideration and accepting all genders as individuals and human beings who have the right to live in the society. The programme was held in Seminar Hall from 11.15am to 1.15pm.
