Seminar- Career Development
On the 26th of October,2022 the Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with Placement Cell and IQAC of Kristu Jyothi College of Management and Technology conducted a seminar on career development in order to motivate and shed some light on the various career options and also to broaden the job-oriented perspectives of the students. The career development programme was wrapped up by Devika S Panicker of BBA semester 3 extending the vote of thanks to all those who worked zealously behind the successful conduction of the career development programme.

Seminar- ICT
As part of ICT training, Post Graduate Department of Management Studies conducted an awareness class about Library Management using ICT on 16th February 2023 from 11.15 to 12.15pm at college library. The class was about the functioning of library, technologies used, categorizing of books on the basis of subjects etc. The session was handled by Mr. Krishnakumar, Librarian, Kristujyoti college and the target audience was semester2 MAHRM students. The session was very useful for the students to get an idea for setting a library, how to arrange books and recording works using ICT
Life skill - yoga class
Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India and aim to control , recognizing a detached witness-consciousness untouched by the mind and suffering. As BBA students need some motivation and encouragement, the Post Graduate Department of Management Studies provided them with a yoga session which helps them to make there mind calm and relaxed. It was conducted on 22nd February 2023 in association with IQAC for the students of BBA

Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted a SEMINAR on Digital Marketing & Technical updates on 10th AUGUST 2022 An award winning individual with extensive expertise in training process that includes its various functionalities such as Career Building, Induction, Faculty Enhancement, Skill Development, Parenting, Equip Teacher, Capacity Building, Kid’s Camp and Wellness Workshops. He has thorough experience in psychological counselling and has conducted many successful workshops across Kerala. Mr. Prasad’s expertise in psychology has come handy for his HR role. He is an active end to end recruiter, conducting various processes of hiring such as sourcing, screening, interviewing, documentation, offer and on boarding. He has been felicitated with various awards such as Trainer’s Excellence Award 2019-20 by NaITER and best youth volunteer for the year 2018-19 by Yogakshemasabha.

Seminar- Intellectual Property Rights –Awareness Program
On the 20th of January, 2023 the Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with and IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology conducted a seminar on INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS –AWARENESS PROGRAM in order give awareness regarding IPR. The seminar was conducted in the New examination hall between 11.30 a.m. to 1.15 p.m. The programme was organised with Rev.Fr.Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI positioned as the chief patron, Prof. Thomas Mathew headed as the convener and Mr. Christin Mathew leading as the staff coordinator. The master of the ceremony, Linta Abhraham, 4th Semester BBA gracefully handled the session from the start to the end. The session started with a prayer song which was sung by Sona and Aiswarya of M.A HRM semester I. It was further followed by the words of welcome conveyed by Karsima Sai from BBA semester IV. With much delight the chief guest of honor, DR. K.T. VARGHESE (IP EXPERT AND PATENT AGENT) was cordially welcomed to address the student gathering. He enriched the students about the meaning of IPR.

Seminar on Entrepreneurship Development Programme
Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted an Entrepreneurship Development Programme on 24th February 2023, at 2.00 pm. Mr. Jayajith Prasad, Founder (CEO), India’s first online charity store was the resource person. The event was conducted at college seminar hall. Total of 52 participants were take part in the SEMINAR.
After a small introduction about the resource person, Mr. Jayajith Prasad, through his interactive session with students, shared his life experiences as an entrepreneur in the field of charity. He shared the success stories of various business tycoons to motivate students. He also ensured the active participation of students through interactions and sharing their business ideas. The outcome of the program was to create an awareness among students the importance of entrepreneurship and also as an young entrepreneur in the field of charity he gave a clear picture about the idea of charity as a business and how it works.
In the end of the session, there was a question answering session to clarify the queries of the participants. The seminar concluded with vote of thanks

World Consumer Day Celebration
World Consumer Rights Day, celebrated on March 15 every year, is a global event that aims to raise awareness about consumer rights and needs. World Consumer Rights Day is commemorated to safeguard consumer rights and to ensure that customers are not subjected to market exploitation or social injustice that may jeopardize their rights. To create and awareness among students about consumer rights and needs Post Graduate Department of Management Studies, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology on 15th March 2022 conducted an event named “Thaneer Mathan Day”, venue at college canteen inaugurated by Fr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI, Principal in the presence of Prof. Thomas Mathew, HOD Management Department. As a part of this awareness programme student coordinators distributed good quality watermelon juice to all students. Along with awareness it was a relief to the students in the peak of summer days to drink a cup of natural extract only at the cost of ₹.10/- reminding the importance of using natural and good quality products from the consumer market.

Inter Departmental Essay Writing Competition – Commemorating World Literacy Day
International Literacy Day is an international observance, celebrated each year on 8 September, that was declared by UNESCO on 26 October 1966 at the 14th session of UNESCO's General Conference. It was celebrated for the first time in 1967. Its aim is to highlight the importance of literacy to individuals, communities and societies. Celebrations take place in several countries. As September 8th was Onam , DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES; KRISTU JYOTI COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT & TECHNOLOGY organized an offline essay writing competition on 17th September in association with IQAC for all the Students of the college. Total 48 students participated in the essay writing competition.
Inter Department Business Idea Competition –Commemorating National Entrepreneurs Day
National Entrepreneur’s Day is an annual event occurring on November16 that honors people who have built an empire from absolutely nothing. Radical inventions by brilliant minds have shaped the way we live today, not to mention our future. “Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC and Quiz Club of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted an INTER DEPARTMENTAL BUSINESS IDEA COMPETITION in commemoration with National Entrepreneurs Day on 16th NOVEMBER 2022, at 2.15 pm. The event was conducted in Room No 604. There were a total of 11 participants
International Day of Persons with Disabilities -Charity visit
International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) is observed every year on 3 December. The annual observance of the International Day of Disabled Persons was proclaimed in 1992, by the United Nations General Assembly resolution 47/3. The observance of the Day aims to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities. It also seeks to increase awareness of gains to be derived from the integration of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life. We the Post Graduate Department of Management Studies organized a charity visit on 16 th december. MA HRM 1st year students visited rekshabhavan, and given lots of sanitary and food items which is contributed by them.
National Girl Child Day observance
On the 24th January 2023 the Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology observed the National Girl Child Day. The event was conducted at the entrance of the college at 11am.As part of the programme mass signature collection was obtained from the girl students of the college. The significance of observing the national girl child day was shared as message by the semester 2 MAHRM students as part of the programme. The programme was a great success with the active participation of about 60 students.
MELO- QUENCH -COMEMORATING WORLD CONSUMER RIGHTS DAY
On 15th March 2023, a watermelon juice sale named Melo Quench was held at the college campus near canteen as part of World Consumer Rights Day. The sale was organized to raise awareness about consumer rights while providing an opportunity for students to learn entrepreneurship skills and management.

The Master of the ceremony, Ms.Linta Abhraham of BBA semester IV gracefully handled the Welcome Speech. The session started of with a prayer song which was sung by Sona Thomas of M.A HRM semester I. It was further followed by the words of welcome conveyed by Ms.Devika Kalarickal BBA Semester IV.
