Activity I
An International Webinar on Ethics and Ethical Leadership in Business
The session on “Ethics and Ethical Leadership in Business” helps to understand the fundamental concepts of business ethics as well as the vital role that ethical leadership plays in organisational success. Participants learn about the intricacies of resolving ethical problems in today’s business landscape through engaging conversations and case studies. The session emphasises the need of building an organization-wide culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability, as well as the positive influence of ethical decision-making on long-term sustainability and reputation. Attendees learn about ethical leadership theories, ethical decision-making processes, and ways for encouraging ethical behavior at all levels of the organisation.
Activity II
Workshop on Ms.Word
Post Graduate Department of Commerce in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry organised a Workshop on Ms. Word for B.Com First year Students. On 8th July 2024, from 2.00pm to 4:00 pm in Computer Lab, KJCMT. The session commenced at 2 pm with a prayer song by Abin Shaji, followed by a welcome note by Ann Mariya Jimmy. The workshop was attended by 46 participants. The MS Office Workshop was conducted to enhance participants’ proficiency in using key MS Office applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. The outcome of the program was to make them aware of the concepts and participants developed the skills to work more efficiently and productively with MS Office applications.
Activity III
Workshop on Bank Test Coaching
Post Graduate Department of Commerce in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry organised a Workshop on Bank Test Coaching for B.Com Third year Students. On 10th June 2024, from 2.00pm to 4:00 pm in New Exam Hall, KJCMT.The session commenced at 2 pm with a prayer song by Jesly Susan Abraham, followed by a welcome note by Mithun Varghese. The workshop was attended by 226 participants. The purpose of this program is to provide an overview of bank test coaching, its importance, and the various aspects that make it an essential component for aspirants aiming to succeed in banking examinations. Bank test coaching centers play a crucial role in preparing candidates for competitive exams such as the IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, SBI PO, SBI Clerk, and other related tests.
Activity IV
Orientation Class on TallyPrime
Post Graduate Department of Commerce in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry organised a Orientation Class for B.Com Second year Students. On 25th July 2024, from 10:00am to 11:00 am in New Exam Hall, KJCMT. The session commenced at 10am with a welcome note by Nandana Ratheesh.The Orientation Class was attended by 163 participants. Mr. Jijikumar N serves as the Regional Manager at Tally Solutions Pvt Ltd,Ernakulam a leading company known for its innovative accounting and business management software. With a robust background in finance and management, Jijikumar brings over 10 years of experience in the industry. The outcome of the program was to yielded several positive outcomes, reflecting the successful engagement and learning experiences of the participants. The class provided detailed instruction on recording various types of accounting transactions. Participants practiced creating and managing vouchers, leading to improved accuracy and efficiency in their accounting practices.
Activity V
Seminar on Human Rights
The Post Graduate Department of Commerce at Kristu Jyoti College of Management & Technology, in association with IQAC, is organizing a seminar on Human Rights. The event will take place on August 6, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The seminar will feature Adv. Reni K Jacob, a social activist, advocate, and development professional, as the resource person. The organizing committee includes Rev. Dr. Joshy George (Principal), Dr. Anu Antony (IQAC Coordinator), Mr. Thomaskutty M.O (Head of the Department), Dr. Joseph Sam (Vice Principal), and faculty coordinators Ms. Anu Mercy Zachariah, Ms. Rosmy Joseph, Ms. Meenu Susan Jacob, and Ms. Sinu Mary Devasia.The programme witnessed an enthusiastic response from the graduate students and faculties, who actively participated in the event. The majority of the participants found the information provided during the session highly relevant to their career development.

A seminar on “Brand Management ”
A seminar on “Brand Management ”was organized by Post Graduate Department of Commerce of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanassery on 31st August 2024, 12:00 – 1:00 PM. The Resource Person who conducted the Seminar is Sebin Chacko an alumnus of KCMT and is an accomplished Brand Consultant and a seasoned trainer at EY,Kochi. Seminar began at 12: 00 pm and it started with a silent prayer. Welcome address was delivered by Ms. shobhita Alex. Then the resource person talked about the various branding process and its practical implications in office . Vote of thanks was given by Ms. Jyothi. Seminar on “How to frame a questionnaire for an article”
The seminar on “Seminar on How to frame a questionnaire for an article” was organized by Post Graduate Department of Commerce in Association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanassery on 09th September 2024 09:00 Am – 12:30 PM. The Resource Person who conducted the webinar session was: Badusha Muhammed Research Scholar, SD college, AlappuzhaSeminar began at 09:00 am and it started with a silent prayer. Welcome address was delivered by Ms. Liya Maria Thomas. Then the resource person talked about how to frame a problem for research connection with how to frame Questionnaire for an Article including various AI tools that is used frequently for research works and how effectively these tools simplify the tasks. Vote of thanks was given by Ms.Aishwarya Raju.The seminar ended at 12.30 pm.

Workshop on Skill Development Programme
The Group Discussion & Interview Techniques Programme is designed to prepare Final year B.Com students on communication skills, leadership skills, listening skills, behavioral skills, and reasoning ability. The key components evaluated are knowledge, communication skills, group behavior, and leadership potential. Various types of participants in group discussions are described, such as initiators, data givers, critics, supporters, questioners, traffic policemen, leaders, spectators, and summarizers.The Institute of Banking and Financial Studies (IBFS) is a leading institution for offering comprehensive classes for Banking with specialized training in capital markets. Devi Sundar having 12 years of industrial experience along with 6 years of experience in Freelance Training.
Activity IX
Union Budget Seminar Competition
Post Graduate Department of Commerce, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry organized a union budget competition on 12/2/2025 at New Examination Hall. The programme stared at 2pm with 27 students under the guidance of Ms. Salvy Mathew Assistant professors, Post Graduate Department of Commerce.
The Union Budget competition for commerce students was held on 12th February 2025 at the New Examination Hall. The competition aimed to enhance students’ understanding of India’s Union Budget, its fiscal policies, and their broader impact on the economy. This event provided a platform for students to critically analyze budgetary provisions and present their insights regarding various economic sectors.

Day 1:
Campus Exploration– This Idea captures the idea of discovering and getting to know the different areas and facilities of the campus in an engaging and exploratory manner.
Day 2:
Melody Workshop– This emphasizes a collaborative and learning focused environment where new students can practice and enhance their musical skills.
Day 3:
Commerce Induction Session- This highlights an informative session where students get an overview of the department, offering, and how to navigate it effectively.
Day 4
Digital Boarding- A program designed to help new students to set up their email accounts and provide them with essential information about using ChatGPT and other digital resources effectively.
Day 5
Active Start Program- A Program designed to engage new students in physical exercise and introduce them to games, including basketball, to promote fitness and teamwork.
Day 6
Confidence Boost- A program designed to enhance new students confidence through Psychological techniques and support, helping them to adjust and thrive in their new environment.
Day 7
Emerging scholars’ Program- It conveys the idea of identifying and nurturing new talent among students in a straightforward way.
Day 8
Digital Deception: This captures the essence of dishonest or deceptive behavior in the cyber realm.
Day 9
Cake Artistry Skills Program- This is a structured program aimed at enhancing skills in cake making and decorating.
Day 10
Character Development Workshop-It emphasises on personal improvement and overall development of individuals.
Day 11
Welcome Day- This is a welcoming event for newbies, they are introduced to institution and its culture.
Day 12
Ethics and Value Courses-This is to focus on teaching principles of ethical behaviour and societal values.
Day 13
Movie Screening and Review-A structured activity where participants watch films and then analyse and write reviews about it.
Day 14
The Kick-off Cup-It is a football match organized to welcome new students.

GST Filing Orientation Class
Post Graduate Department of Commerce of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology Changanacherry organised a “GST Filing Orientation Class” programme for B.Com Final year students on November 2024. GST helps develop skills of different taxation, finance, and accounting professionals. It offers a classroom-environment for better learning along with structured course content. It increases the number of job opportunities available to individuals. It enables individuals to start their own consultancy.
Activity XII
WORKSHOP ON ARTIFICAL INTELLIGENCE
PG Department of Commerce in association with and IQAC, conducted a Workshop on 14th July 2024 . The objective of this program was to provide valuable insights to the students and develop the ultimate use of AI. Physical, mental, and emotional balance is necessary for personality development. The students of B.Com Computer Applications Batch I1, Semester IV, attended the programme with great enthusiasm. Students applauded the meticulous effort of the faculty towards the end.
