The webinar "From Idea to Impact: Navigating the Entrepreneurial Journey" was a dynamic and insightful event designed to guide management students through the essential stages of transforming a concept into a successful venture. It covers critical topics like validating business ideas, developing effective strategies, securing funding and scaling operations. It was held on 10-09-2024 through the ‘Google Meet’. The event was organized by the Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC and IIC. The webinar provided a platform for the participants to learn about the essential elements of entrepreneurship. The webinar addresses key challenges such as securing funding, building a strong team and navigating market dynamics. The session starts with the welcome address delivered by Ms. Jisha Joy (MAHRM First Year). Then the session was handed over to the resource person and the speaker of the day, Dr. Brijesh George John, a prominent You Tuber & an experienced placement officer renowned for his expertise in both digital content creation & career development. With a successful YouTube channel dedicated to entrepreneurial advice and personal growth, he has built a substantial following by providing valuable insights and practical tips for aspiring entrepreneurs. Towards the end of the session, Ms. Mismi Elezabath Mathew (BBA Third Year) delivered the Vote of Thanks.
The Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted a seminar on Career counselling - Career Opportunities in Blockchain on 9th September 2024 at 10.00 am. Dr Jubilant J Kizhakkethottam was the resource person. The event was conducted at Conference Hall. A total of 56 participants were part of the Seminar.
Dr Jubilant J Kizhakkethottam presented an interactive session on blockchain industry which offers a wide range of exciting career opportunities for individuals with technical and soft skills. As blockchain technology continues to evolve, the demand for skilled professionals in this field is expected to grow. By understanding the various career paths and acquiring the necessary skills, students can position themselves for success in this dynamic and innovative industry.
The Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted an Alumni Interaction on 10th July 2024, from 11:15 am to 12: 15 pm. Ms. Kesiya Mariam Benoy was the resource person. The event was conducted at Room No: 610. A total of 12 participants took part in the Seminar.In this session Ms. Kesiya Mariam Benoy (QRS Retail Limited, Kottayam) gave an interactive session on HR worklife, latest HR Trends and job updates. The resource person used very attractive PowerPoint presentations. She also ensured the active participation of students by gathering more updates on Job opportunities. The outcome of the program was to expose them to a diverse range of opportunities to build experience and clarity about their goals. In the end of the session, there was a question answering session to clarify the queries of the participants. The workshop ends with the vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Feba Mary Biju ( MA.HRM 3rd Semester student representative).

Ms. Rajalekshmi R was the resource person. The event was conducted at Room No: 606. A total of 51 participants took part in the Seminar. In this session Ms. Rajalekshmi R (TMM, Thiruvalla) gave an interactive session on HR worklife, latest HR Trends and job updates. The resource person used very attractive PowerPoint presentations. PG Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted a student induction programme on 24th July 2024, from 11:15 AM to 1:15 P.M. was the resource person. The event was conducted at New Examination Hall. A total of 69 participants took part in the Seminar. In this session, the induction program incorporated a series of engaging management games specifically designed to equip first-year BBA students with essential managerial skills. The outcome of the program was to expose them to real-world business scenarios, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. In the end of the session, there was a question answering session to clarify the queries of the participants. The workshop ends with the vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Chelsa Thomas( BBA 3rd Semester student representative).
A Peer Teaching session was conducted on 24th January 2025 at 2:00 PM in Room 607 for BBA First-Year students. The objective of this session was to enhance student engagement and learning through peer-led instruction. This initiative encouraged active participation and knowledge-sharing among students
The session was initiated with a warm welcome by Jovana George, who greeted the students and introduced the purpose of the session. The teaching was conducted by Alisha P. Aziz, who effectively delivered insights on the topic ‘Organisational Behaviour and Its Impact on Employees’. The session covered key aspects of organisational behaviour, including workplace culture, motivation, leadership, and employee engagement.

The primary objective of this training session was to enhance the interview skills of the participants, enabling them to confidently face job interviews and increase their chances of securing desired positions. The resource person delivered an engaging and informative session sharing valuable insights and practical tips, creating a conducive learning environment. The resume building session was informative and helpful. The trainer provided valuable insights and practical tips. The hands-on exercises were particularly beneficial in applying the learned concepts.
The Post-Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted a Life Skill Programme on Self Defence -Awareness & Training on 08-08-2024. Life skill programs are crucial for equipping individuals with the competencies needed to lead fulfilling, successful and balanced lives. The self-defense awareness and training program was organized with the primary objective of equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to protect themselves in potentially dangerous situations. Mr. Aju Abraham was the resource person and the session was conducted in the offline mode. A total of 101 students were take part in the session. The session started with the prayer song followed by the words of welcome. After the welcome address, Rev. Dr. Joshy George, Principal, KJCMT delivered the presidential address. Thereafter, the session was handed over to the resource person. The session began with an introductory session on situational awareness, followed by practical demonstrations of key self-defense techniques. Each session included hands-on practice, allowing students to apply what they learned in real-time scenarios. The schedule also incorporated time for Q&A, feedback, and personalized guidance from instructors, ensuring that participants gained a thorough understanding of the material covered. Overall, the session was fruitful for the students where they have got a life learning experience. The session was ended with the vote of thanks at 4 pm.
On October 10th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m, the Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry, held a training programme on Life skill in order to shed some light in students on the importance of health and maintaining physical fitness. The program's focus was to provide an insight to the students and raise students' knowledge on the importance of health and wellness in life. The programme was held in room- Yoga Hall, from 10.00 am to 11.15 am.
The Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted a training and development programme on 7th August 2024, from 02:00 PM to 04:00 P.M. MA. HRM students of Semester 3 was co-ordinating the session. The event was conducted at Seminar Hall. A total of 11 participants took part in the session. In this session, the induction program incorporated a series of engaging management games specifically designed to equip first-year MA. HRM students to enhance their communication skills, leadership qualities, reasoning abilities, and critical thinking. Through interactive and engaging activities, attendees demonstrated notable improvements in their capacity to articulate ideas, analyze complex scenarios, and make informed decisions. In the end of the session, there was a question answering session to clarify the queries of the participants. The workshop ends with the vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Jane Susan Anthrayose (MA. HRM 3rd Semester student representative).
The Post-Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted Envision 2K24- Business Quiz Competition on 30th SEPT 2024. The competition was held as a part of DAKSH 24’ intercollegiate and school fest conducted for 2 days in the college.
Envision 2K24- Business Quiz Competition was conducted exclusively for class XI and class XII students. There we 17 teams participated from different schools consisting of 2 numbers in each team.

The competition, which featured a written round, a question round, and a multimedia round, showcased the exceptional knowledge and skills of the participating students. The vibrant atmosphere and competitive spirit among the teams created a stimulating environment for intellectual engagement.
To commemorate their participation, certificates were awarded to all participants. Additionally, cash prizes were distributed to the top-performing teams, recognizing their outstanding achievements. The competition served as a platform for students to showcase their knowledge, develop critical thinking skills, and foster a passion for business and current affairs.
The Post Graduate Department of Management Studies in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry conducted an Interdepartmental Programme – Kerala Piravi Reels Competition on 11th November 2024. A total of 7 participants were part of the Reels Competition Programme
The Interdepartmental Kerala Piravi Reels Competition was organized to celebrate Kerala’s rich cultural heritage and promote creativity among the staff. The competition aimed to foster teamwork, innovation, and cultural understanding through the medium of short video reels. The Judging Criteria was based on the following criterias

On 20th November 2024 Post Graduate Department of Management Studies, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology conducted an online case study competition named “Big Brand failures” and the entries were made open for MA HRM Students. Mr. Christin Mathew was the Coordinator for competition. The main objective of the programme was to practically apply skills and understanding of learned facts to a real-world situation. Ms. Tiya Clarice Jose of 1st Semester MA HRM secure the 1st prize of the Case Study Competition & Ms. Jisha Joy of 1st Semester MA HRM secure the 1st prize of the Case Study Competition.
