Activity I- Ethnic Day Celebration
The ethnic club of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology conducted the Ethnic Day Celebration on 28th February. It was organized by the students and cultural committee in charge Ms. Malu Varghese& Ms. Cina Mathew along with their team. It was a grand event that showcased the rich cultural heritage of India. Students and staffs enthusiastically participated by representing different states, wearing traditional attire, performing dances and songs that highlighted India’s diverse traditions.
The event concluded with a grand fashion show, where participants elegantly presented traditional outfits from various states of India, gracefully parading across the stage with confidence and pride.
The First prize was bagged by BCOM FT2. The Second prize went to the MSW & BSW Department, while the Third prize was secured by the BSC Cyber Forensic for their vibrant cultural representation.
Activity II- Olympics KCMT
The Ethnic Club of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology successfully organized Olympics Day on 25th July 2024, at 10:30 AM, celebrating the spirit of sports and unity. It was organized by the students and cultural committee in charge Ms. Malu Varghese& Ms. Cina Mathew along with her team.A unique highlight of the event was the human formation of the Olympics Day logo, where students stood in a specific arrangement wearing colour-coordinated t-shirts to represent the logo. This creative initiative showcased teamwork, coordination, and dedication, making the logo a living representation of the Olympic spirit. The effort put into this formation reflected the students enthusiasm and commitment to making the event special.
A Mini Marathon was the highlight of the event, where students, faculty, and staff actively participated. The presence of the Principal, Rev. Dr. Joshy George CMI and Vice Principal, Dr. Joseph Sam in the marathon added to the enthusiasm, inspiring students to embrace fitness and sportsmanship. The event was filled with energy and excitement as participants showcased their dedication and perseverance. The Olympics Day celebration was a grand success and promoting the importance of sports and physical well-being. This program not only promoted physical activity but also reinforced values of perseverance, teamwork, and sportsmanship, making it a truly memorable occasion for the entire college community.
Activity III
On March 3rd, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, the ethnic club of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology organized an exciting Reels Competition as part of the Ethnic Day celebrations. The competition aimed to creatively showcase India's cultural diversity through engaging short videos. Students created reels highlighting its tradition, attire, dance, music, cuisine, and heritage.The Reels Competition was a resounding success, allowing students to explore and present India’s rich cultures in an engaging way. The best reels were widely appreciated and featured on the college’s official social media platforms, further promoting the celebration of culture beyond the campus. The Ethnic Club looks forward to organizing more such engaging and meaningful events in the future, ensuring that tradition and creativity continue to thrive among students.
