I.  National Webinar On A Holistic Approach To Industry – Academy Interaction

Post Graduate Department of Commerce in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry, on organised  National Webinar on a Holistic Approach to Industry Academy Interaction on 06th July 2021, from 12:00pm to 1:00 pm. Shri. Kochouseph Chittilappilly, founder and chairman of V-Guard Industries Ltd. and Wonderla Holidays Ltd., was the resource person. The webinar was conducted on the zoom platform.  504 participants took part in the webinar including students, faculty members and research scholars from different states. The programme began with a prayer song. Dr. Varghese Antony (Vice Principal and HOD of Commerce Department) delivered the welcome speech. Fr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI (Principal of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology) gave the inaugural address. The Key note address given by Shri. Kochouseph Chittilappilly covered various interactive and collaborative arrangement between academic institutions and business corporations.  The session was very motivating and informative to the participants. The key note address was followed by a question and answer session during which the participants got a chance to clear their queries. The webinar ended with the vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Reni Mathew (Assistant Professor, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and technology).

Expected outcome:

1.  To have a clear idea about industry academy interaction

      2 . To get knowledge on various interactive and collaborative arrangement between academic institution and business corporation

      3.  Tips to become a successful entrepreneur 

II. Workshop On Intellectual Property Right

Time:6.00PM to 8.00PM

Post Graduate Department of Commerce in association with IQAC and Research Club of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry organises National workshop on Intellectual Property Right on 28^th June 2021, at 6.00 pm. Mr. Prasanth Rajeev, Founder and Chief R and D Officer, ANSA Infotech, was the resource person. The Platform used was Zoom. Total of 254 participants were take part in the workshop which includes, students, faculties, and Research scholars in and around the state. The programme begins with a prayer song. Dr. Mathew Emmanuel (Former Head of the Department of post graduate department of Commerce) delivered the welcome speech. Fr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI (Principal, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry) inaugurated the workshop and delivered the inaugural address. The session covers an introduction on the Intellectual Property right, its types, Tools, Patents, how to get patent on assets, its advantages and disadvantages etc. The session was very much informative for the participants, as it was delivered in very simple and precise manner. In the end of the session, there was a question answering session to clarify the queries of the participants. The workshop ends with the vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Thushara Sojan (Assistant Professor, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and technology.

• To get an awareness on, how to get patent for assets and its advantages and disadvantages.
• Various tools and types of Intellectual Properties.
