NATIONAL READING DAY

The National Reading Day Observance was conducted by Post Graduate Department of Commerce Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanassery on 19th June 2025, 9:00 – 10:00 AM. The reading activity was beginning at 9. 00 am. Students gathered quietly in the library, each engrossed in their chosen books. The calm atmosphere encouraged focused reading, allowing them to explore new stories and learn from various subjects. This activity helped improve their comprehension skills and fostered a love for reading in a peaceful environment. The activity ended at 10.00 am.

TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION

In commemoration of teachers day on September 5,the final year B.com Finance and Taxation Batch 2 organised teachers day celebration on 22^nd September,2025 at seminar hall from 3 pm. The celebration has been postponed to 22^nd September due to onam holidays. The programme commenced with prayer followed by words of welcome by student representative. Respected principal Dr.Joshy George CMI,Vice-Principal Advocate Dr.Joseph Sam, Dr.Thomaskutty M.O,Head of the department addressed the gathering. Students organized various fun filled games for teachers which were very interactive and enjoyable. Students also gifted cards, flowers and loving write ups for their teachers. The event was concluded by 4 :30 pm.

Hindi Diwas 2025

As part of the Hindi Diwas/Day Observance 2025 , Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Hindi Essay writing competition were announced on the topic हिन्दी : भारत की संस्कृति और सभ्यता का दर्पण (Hindi : Mirror of Indian culture and civilization). It was an Intercollegiate online competition. It is an informative and helpful writing session. It was such a good experience. This competition is so helpful. To help students to build confidence as they learn creative thinking skills.

INTRA-DEPARTMENTAL QUIZ COMPETITION              

 Post Graduate Department of Commerce, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry organized an Intra-departmental quiz competition as part of International Commerce day on 07/08/25 at 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm at Room number 701. The quiz was coordinated by Ms. Sruthymol Joseph, Assistant Professor, Post Graduate Department of Commerce. It was an individual competition and 2 students from each class were permitted to participate in the competition. Total 24 students from Commerce department were participated. The intra-departmental quiz competition held on International Commerce Day was a highly engaging and intellectually stimulating event.
