Report on Day 01
The programme begins with a prayer song by the college choir. Dr. Varghese Antony (Vice Principal and Head of the Department of post graduate department of Commerce) delivered the welcome speech. Dr. Gabriel Simon Thattil, Dean and Professor, Kerala University was the resource person. The topic for discussion were Identification of research Problems. The session had created to have an insight into how to identify research problems and checking whether its relevant to conduct a research. Total of 312 participants were for the session. The session was very much informative for the participants, as it was delivered in very simple and precise manner. In the end of the session, there was a question answering session to clarify the queries of the participants. The webinar ends with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Mathew Emmanuel (former Head of the department of Post graduate department of Commerce.)

The session includes details on how to formulate hypothesis and identifying H1 and H0. and various testing methods for conducting hypothesis testing and statistical tools for analysis. Total of 355 participants were for the session. The session was very much informative for the participants, as it includes lots of examples regarding the testing tools and analysis. The session helps to explore into various tools and techniques that can be used for data analysis. The session creates an insight into various data collection techniques and to check for its suitability in analysis. Total of 359 participants were for the session. The session covers various tools that can be used for data analysis and its suitability. The session creates an awareness on the suitability of these tools with regards to the available data. In the end of the session, there was a question answering session to clarify the queries of the participants. The webinar ends with the vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Jijo P John (Assistant Professor, Post graduate department of Management studies.)
