I. Workshop On Research Methodology and Research Paper Writing

Research Club of the Post Graduate Department of Commerce organized the first Student development programme (Workshop) on 15/05/2021.The topic of the session was Research paper in writing and How to present research paper in conference/seminar/webinar were handled by Dr.Anu Antony, Associate Professor & IQAC Co-ordinator, Post Graduate Department of Commerce, Kristu Jyoti College of Management& Technology. The Virtual workshop begins on 3.00Pm to 5.30PM. The target groups of workshop on M.Com first year students of the department. The session was rated much fruitful by all the facilities

II. Workshop on How to File Income Tax Return
Date:21/05/2021 Time:7.00Pm to 8.00Pm
The workshop on how to file income tax return was organised by the research club of Post Graduate Department of Commerce. The virtual meeting was held from 7 pm to 8:00 pm through Google meet on 21st may 2021. Mr Shine P Joseph FCA, (Managing partner of JCC Associates Chartered accountants) was the chief guest of the online workshop. Tiana Sabu addressed the honourable guest and participants with introductory remarks. The session commenced at 7 pm with a prayer song by Soji KJ, followed by a welcome note by Jeethu Biju . The workshop was attended by 50 participants. The purpose of the section was to enrich knowledge among students on filing the income tax return. Mr Shine P Joseph has given a detailed note on the subject matter, followed by the queries and panel discussions.
III. Virtual National Paper Presentation
The Research club of post graduate department of commerce, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, in association with IQAC organized virtual National Paper presentation on the topic “Impact of Covid on the E-Commerce Market” for the commerce post graduate students on 28th May 2021.
The inaugural session commenced at 10.00 am with a prayer song. Dr. Mathew Emmanuel (Head of the Department of post graduate department of commerce) delivered the welcome speech. Fr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI (Principal, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology) inaugurated the session and delivered the inaugural address and Mr. Vivek Vijayan ( Assistant Professor, post graduate department of commerce) propose the vote of Thanks.
Paper Presentation
As the presentation done in virtual mode, three tracks were arranged for the participants. In each track, three moderators were appointed. In Track A Dr. Mathew Emmanuel (Head of the Department of post graduate department of commerce), Ms Reni Mathew (Assistant Professor, post graduate department of commerce) and Ms Anu Eappen (Assistant Professor, post graduate department of commerce) were the moderators.

In Track B Dr. Varghese Antony (Vice Principal, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology), Ms. Anu Mercy Zacharia (Assistant Professor, post graduate department of commerce) and Mr. Vivek V Vijayan (Assistant Professor, post graduate department of Commerce) were the moderators.

In track C Dr. Anu Antony (Assistant Professor, post graduate department of commerce), Mr. Thomaskutty M O (Course Coordinator, post graduate department of commerce) and Ms. Thushara Sojan ( Assistant Professor, post graduate department of commerce) chaired as the moderators.
