Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
The PG Department of Social Work at Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, established in 2024, offers a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW), dedicated to nurturing skilled and compassionate social work professionals who are equipped to address societal challenges, promote social justice, and empower communities through innovative education and practical training. It combines theoretical learning with hands-on field experiences, enabling students to understand and address the diverse needs of individuals, families, groups, and communities.
Key Highlights of the BSW Program:
Curriculum: The program covers core areas such as social work theory, human behavior, social policy, community development, and research methods.
Fieldwork: Students engage in supervised fieldwork and internships, gaining practical experience in real-world settings such as NGOs, hospitals, schools, and community organizations.

The Students enrolling to BSW (Hons) can create their own specialization pathways leading to unique career possibilities. The four possible specialization pathways available in Mahatma Gandhi university are:
