MSC PSYCHOLOGY 

Post Graduate Department of Psychology, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, offer Master’s Degree in Psychology (MSc Psychology) with a strategically designed academic framework ensuring the emerging demand for Psychologists in the HealthCare Management, Corporate – Industry, Education, and Mental Wellness. Department is confident in imparting sound theoretical concepts with effective in-depth working knowledge of psychology and hands-on experience in therapeutic and clinical internships. Department research programs are committed to develop in-depth knowledge and skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods through laboratory, field and web modes of learning. The program shall be spread over four semesters with each semester having a duration of 90 days.

Department ensures a learning and academic atmosphere to foster the student to explore emerging trends, improve creative skills and provide quality education in the field of psychology.

To develop and train the students in exploratory research, publications and paper presentations we assure internships and collaborations with prominent international and national firms and NGOs.

(3) Organizational Behavior 

OBJECTIVES 

            The MSc Psychology course is designed with the following specific objectives

1	Equip and enable the students through providing conceptual understanding of psychology
2	Fostering ability to engage in lifelong learning, demonstrating empathetic social concern, contributing to the development of nation, by making sure of awareness gained on various issues
3	Enhancing the horizon of knowledge so as to enable the learners to carry out qualitative research and pursue academic or professional careers.
4	Developing problem analysis skills and knowledge and applying the same in real life situations.
5	Using research knowledge and aptitude acquired in the course of study for solving socially relevant problem
6	Professionalize psychology through providing and familiarizing the recent trends and advances in psychology

ADMISSION PROCEDURE 

`           The student seeking admission for the MSc Psychology course should submit the Application form duly filled in the college office. The application form can be bought from the college office by paying a fee of Rs.500/-or can be downloaded from the website.
