Mind Management in Entrepreneurship
Post Graduate Department of Psychology in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry organized a Session on “Mind Management in Entrepreneurship” on 27th October 2022, at 2.00 pm. Prof. Abi Varghese, Convener, Makerhub Amal Jyothi IEDC was the resource person. Total of 95 participants were part of the session. The outcome of the program was to create an insight into the meaning of entrepreneurship and on how to become a good entrepreneur.
Entrepreneurship in Psychology
Post Graduate Department of Psychology in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry organized an online session on entrepreneurship in psychology at 6.00 pm. Mr. Soney Thomas Olickan (Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Founder, Max mind Psychosocial rehabilitation Centre) was the resource person. Total of 68 participants were part of the session. The outcome of the program was to create an insight into the meaning of entrepreneurship and on how to become a good entrepreneur. The program enlightened the students about various challenges that an entrepreneur might face especially in the field of psychology.
Taking the Leap-A Roadmap to Entrepreunership
The department conducted an Entrepreneurship program “ Taking the Leap-A Roadmap to Entrepreunership” 20th February, 2023. The speaker of the session was Mr. Binu Mathew Founder, Pokket CFO. The outcome of the program was to create an insight into the meaning of entrepreneurship and on how to become a good entrepreneur.
Activity I
The Post Graduate Department of Psychology in association with IQAC, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology conducted a seminar titled “Entrepreneurship scopes in the field of psychology” on 05 December 2023 at 2:00 PM. The target audience of the program was PG First year students. The session was handled by Mr. Barsleeby Alex Daniel, Director and Clinical Psychologist at Mind Solution Clinic, Thiruvalla. Barsleeby Alex Daniel is a Licenced clinical psychologist with over 7 years of experience both within the public and private sector. He is registered under Rehabilitation Council of India. He is an executive committee member of the Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists Kerala Region. Total of 21 participants were taking part in this session. The objective of this program was to discuss various entrepreneurship scopes that are new to the psychology field. The session included a brief introductory discussion about what is Entrepreneurship and then the session moved on with experience sharing of Mr. Barslleby about his successful entrepreneurship career and some online quiz handling related to Entrepreneurship. The session ended up with a question and answer session.
Activity II
Post Graduate Department of Psychology in association with IQAC of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry organised a Seminar on Entrepreneurship “REDEFINING SUCCESS: EXPLORING THE ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDSET on 11th December 2023, at 10.am . Mr. AnanthuVasudev,Founder of The Evolvers Project was the resource person. Total of 51 participants took part in the session. Entrepreneurship is one of the most vital aspects of knowledge that a student needs to work for their bright future. Giving guidance in entrepreneurship is one of the most gratifying and fulfillingservice to provide. The whole session on entrepreneurship held by Mr. Ananthu Vasudev was held in an interactive manner which urged the students to ponder into their future. The session was packed with knowledge and introduced the students to an whole new world of entrepreneurship. The session helped a lot of students to gain knowledge that would empower and prepare them for creative challenges they will have to face in their life and to worked hard towards helping in shaping their bright future
Activity I- "Next Gen Entrepreneurs"
The Post Graduate Department of Psychology, in collaboration with the IQAC at Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanassery, organized a seminar on "Next Gen Entrepreneurs" on July 26, 2024, at 2 PM. Dr. Binoy Vincent, a renowned expert, led the session, which was designed to equip students with practical insights and skills for navigating the entrepreneurial world. The seminar included a variety of activities that focused on fostering practical thinking and guiding students effectively towards becoming future entrepreneurs. The session was engaging, lively, and expressive, with the speaker offering thought-provoking ideas that kept the students' attention. Additionally, a series of interactive games and activities helped make the concepts memorable while reinforcing the key values of entrepreneurship.
The seminar aimed to help students recognize the necessary changes in their lives to become successful entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship is a crucial area of knowledge for students looking to build a bright future, and the session provided valuable guidance in this field. Dr. Binoy Vincent’s interactive approach encouraged students to reflect on their futures and introduced them to the dynamic world of entrepreneurship. Through this session, students gained insights that would empower them to face creative challenges, understand customer perspectives, and view situations from a broader, more profitable angle. The program was especially beneficial for second-year psychology students, as it enabled them to integrate psychological principles into their entrepreneurial ventures. The session enhanced their understanding of human behavior, helped them identify market needs, and improved their communication and ethical decision-making skills. These insights set them apart as socially conscious entrepreneurs, equipped to tackle contemporary challenges with empathy and strategic thinking.
