INDUSTRIAL VISIT

The Post Graduate Department of Commerce, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry, organized a One-Day Industrial Visit for B. Com Second Year students on 13th February 2026 to the Kannan Devan Hills Plantations Company Tea Factory, Munnar.

The journey commenced from the college at 5.15 a.m. with 49 students under the guidance of Ms. Renuka K.S., Ms. Catherine Maria James, and Mr. Deepu C. Vijay, Assistant Professors of the Post Graduate Department of Commerce. The team reached the factory at 10.30 a.m. where the students were provided with a detailed orientation about tea processing, packaging, quality control, and distribution systems. After the factory visit, the students visited the Rose Garden in Munnar, where they spent an hour exploring the surroundings. Lunch was arranged at Eco Point. Later, at 4.00 p.m., the team reached Mattupetty Dam to experience the scenic beauty and evening atmosphere of Munnar.
