The Parent Teacher Association (P.T.A.) of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology is a formal platform composed of parents and teachers that is intended to facilitate parental participation in an institution. Periodic parent-teacher interaction and dialogue are essential to monitor and guide the learning process of our students. It is a mandatory association for affiliated higher education institutions. Parents are periodically informed of the academic and behavioural status of their wards. The institution gives much importance in conducting the periodic review meeting. Both general as well as departmental PTA meetings are conducted every year. The principal is the president of the association. And the vice president and secretary is selected from among the parent community and the teaching fraternity respectively.
Kristu Jyoti college gives the same importance of academics to the character and the behaviour of students. The PTA Executive Council meets at regular intervals and the annual general body meets and department level open – house offer venues of sharing and interaction. Positive and negative feedbacks are openly discussed for timely improvement and correction.
