Youth Red cross Inauguration and Orientation Training

The Red Cross Society is a worldwide, well known, universally accepted, admired and internationally identified humanitarian service organization. It is the biggest, independent nonreligious, non-political, non-sectarian and voluntary relief organization treating people equally all over the world without any discrimination as to their nationality race and religion beliefs.In Kristu Jyoti college YRC innaguration held on 13 january 2023 and it is innagurated by Ms. Sheela Thomas, President Vazhapalli Grama panchayat. Orientation was given by Mr. Mr. Joby Thomas Chairman, Indian Redcross Society Kottayam

Blood donation

The Youth Red Cross conducted blood donation camp in association with IQAC and HDFC Bank on 29th November 2022. The venue was room number 109 and seminar hall. There were 35 donners and staff from St. Thomas Hospital Chethipuzha came for collecting blood. The main motive of the camp was the scarcity for blood in St. Thomas Hospital. HDFC Bank was the main sponsor of the program and they provide refreshment for the donors and also a thermal water bottle to the students. The program started at 10.am and completed at 4.30. At a time blood of three students where took.
