6 Days Skill Enhancement workshop (Soft skills, life skills, Communication skills and ICT)
The PG Department of Social Work, in collaboration with Nandi Foundation, organized two six-days Skill Enhancement Program from 12th December 2024 to 18th December 2024 and 17th February to 22nd February 2025. The program was aimed at equipping students with essential skills in soft skills, communication, life skills, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This workshop provided an interactive learning experience, with expert sessions and hands-on activities designed to enhance participants’ personal and professional development.
The primary objective of the workshop was to:
- Enhance participants’ soft skills, including interpersonal communication, leadership, and teamwork.
- Improve communication skills to facilitate effective and clear conversations in various settings.
- Provide tools for personal development, covering life skills such as problem-solving, decision-making, and time management
- Strengthen ICT skills, making participants proficient in using digital tools for communication, research, and everyday work.
The Skill Enhancement Program organized by the PG Department of Social Work in association with Nandi Foundation was a resounding success. The program was designed to provide participants with a well-rounded skill set that will contribute significantly to their academic, professional, and personal growth. The interactive sessions, expert guidance, and practical activities ensured that students not only learned valuable skills but also had the opportunity to apply them in real-world scenarios.
