Soft Skill Training on Stress Management
The Soft Skill Programme on Stress Management was organized with the primary goal of equipping our final year BA English students with essential stress management skills, which are invaluable as they prepare to transition to the next phase of their lives, both academically and professionally. Ms. Renju Alex, a seasoned expert in stress management, delivered the training.
Activity II
Life Skill Training- “Fitness for Life”
The Department of English at Kristu Jyoti College hosted the Life Skill Training Session “Fitness for Life” on 16/10/23. It was a comprehensive training programme designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to achieve and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. The programme covered a wide range of fitness techniques, Nutrition guidance and mental well-being strategies equipping participants with the tools to lead a healthier and more fulfilling life.
Activity III
Language Skill Training Session: Verbal Proficiency Unleashed
The Language Skill Training Session, "Verbal Proficiency Unleashed", held at 2 pm in Room No -107, was a transformative experience for the fifth-semester BA English students. Aimed at cultivating and refining language skills, the session provided an immersive platform for students to develop their verbal proficiency. Through interactive exercises and engaging discussions, participants were empowered to unleash their linguistic potential, equipping them with valuable skills for academic and real-world applications. The dynamic activities promoted active learning, fostering a heightened enthusiasm for language development among the students.
Activity III
ICT Training Programme: The Art of Powerpoint
The ICT Training Programme, "Slide to Success: Mastering the Art of PowerPoint," held on November 15, 2023, at 11:15 AM, was conducted by the Department of English at Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, in collaboration with IQAC, featuring Mr. Roji Thomas, Head of the Department of Computer Applications, as the resource person. The program received commendable feedback from BA English students who found Mr. Thomas's insights invaluable. Participants lauded the interactive nature of the session, citing increased confidence in creating impactful presentations.
