CHEMISTRY LAB

Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology has a well-equipped Biochemistry Lab. The lab is furnished with all major apparatus including burettes, pipettes, conical flask, beakers, test tubes, electronic weighing balance etc. A store room is used to keep all the chemicals safely. Volumetric Analysis and Physical Chemistry practicals are the major experiments carried out in the lab.

 Lab Rules

• Strict silence should be observed inside the lab.
• Students should keep their personal belongings outside the lab.
• Students must wear lab coats when inside the lab.
• Students are not allowed to bring food and drinks into the lab.
• Do not work alone in the lab.
• Never leave an ongoing experiment unattended.
• Never smell or taste chemicals.
• Report all injuries, accidents and broken equipment or glass right away, even if the incident seems small or unimportant.
• If you notice any unsafe conditions in the lab your teacher know as soon as possible.
